because 5.7 + their trans = lots of torque management 6.1 + their trans = lots more TM they can put all the horsepower they want in the engine but their transmission and pcm will only hold them back further. the 6.1 would have even more drivetrain loss than the 5.7. a better transmission is whats needed to do the 6.1.

i think the article ment how far behind dodge and nissan and especially ford are. gm is close. especially since they practically have to start putting the 6l80e in half tons.

$300 for the superchips and the ability to revert your tune back to stock on a dime. and 200 bucks for a absolute piece of shit granettali maf.

well ive done some further research and found it is very common for the GMAF to set off these two codes at the same time. this things comin off right now. worked fine on my truck NA but not anymore.

i have a superchips flashpaq for sale and a Granatelli mass air sensor for sale. both are only 2 months old and in great shape. the flashpaq definately made a difference and as did the mass air sensor. since i have a radix now iam choosing not to use the mas and have a new superchips tune. accepting offers.

i recently bought a superchips flashpaq and returned my truck to stock to install the radix tune. my question is. once i have returned my truck to stock with the flashpaq can i use it on another vehicle?

i will try as soon as i get home from work. im starting to think its the maf for sure. ill then run it easy like that until i get the 3.3. as for it running lean. i believe that the superchips tune should work fine for a little bit as it is a very rich tune for the 3.3. it should have no problem feeding the 3.2. or so i understand.

well. i just went and checked. the shop that i ordered my pulley through gave me a 3.2 instead of a 3.3. im guessing this is why im get a lean code on start up. once the truck is warm it does not send the code out. only comes on at idle when cold. does anyone know if i should be safe driving around for the next few days until i get the 3.3 in.

i have one. it worked fine when my truck was na but now that its blown i think im gonna go back to the stock one. pm me if you want it. its only 1 month old.

i used the superchips from magnacharger. i do have a granetteli mas on the truck though. i was gonna through the stock one back on to see if it makes a difference. i checked all the hoses and retorqued everything already.

well. i did the install of the radix this last weekend. runs great except that on a cold startup it will give me the DTC 171 and 174 ( systym to lean ). i cleared it the first time and it ran perfect for a day. no knocking or pinging. its hitting a bang on 6 psi of boost. then i started it up the next day and the light came on again. anyone have a idea what could cause this. my fuel pressure sits at like 61 most of the time and goes to about 56 when at full throttle high up. i havent really been getting on it cause i dont wanna break anything. the light only comes on at idle when its cold so maybe its only when the engines getting more dense air because its well below 0 here. but i dont know. any ideas?

i just checked. it has the intercooler/fuel pump wiring directions for 2003 and also the intercooler wiring for the 2004+

my trucks a 06 . not flex fuel. im expecting the kit to be delivered today. i missed it yesterday as i was at work. so i dont know if it has instructions in it. im guessing so but just incase i printed off a copy of the escalade one at work. the escalade one says for years 2003 - 2006.

are the instructions on magnacharger for the escalade 6.0 the exact same as the ones for my vortec max? i have to bring them to the install shop and want to make sure they are the right ones.

what is dex cool and where do i get it? what % is the mixture if it is even mixed with water?

does the intercooler require anything special for sub 0 weather like mixing the water with antifreeze? is this easy to do? i live in northern alberta where i wont see above 0 for another 2 months. thanks for the replies. chris

also looks like a loaded crew cab will be priced at just under 50k ( from a unconfirmed source ) . hope toyota knows what there doing if this is true.

thanks alot. i only seem to get 91 octane up here in alberta. occasionly i stumble across 92 but its rare. seems stupid. we make all the gas here. thanks for the advise. i cant wait. to bad its -35 celcius where i am right now ( fort mcmurray ). thats -31 farenheit for my american freinds. effin cold out.

im taking my truck in next thursday to get the radix put on. is there any prep work that needs to be done before i take it in? ie: new oil change, empty gas tank, etc. thanks for the help. cheers. Chris

hi. i went to a local perf shop the other day and was told that magnaflow does not make an exhaust for my truck??? this cant be. is it the same as on the AWD's . I have 4x4 on a 2006 VMAX.

allready got the air rade. what front bumper is that? its not to aggressive and looks a hell of a lot better than that black pos stock piece and still fits the fog lights. just wonderin thanks.
