Yeah no problem. Can't say 100% sure for 2wd, but I believe they are the same as far as exhaust clearance goes.
-
My ARH headers and y pipe fit perfectly without any modification after my 80e swap. The truck was 4x4 though.
-
^^^^Yep. Gotta drill em out. It already gas holes, unless you go too large of a bit, you're not going to mess anything up.

This. If the truck was 10k miles or less, I could see using "collectible" as a description. It's a used truck that was a couple thousand more when new than any other SSS. I would say KBB is going to be fairly close on value. In my opinion it's not that collecable. They made lots..... if
You have the COA that would add a little valve. Fact is Dales been dead a long time and now it's a 11 year old truck. You can probably get a small "premium " over a standard Silverado SS but maybe a thound or two tops. Yours would be collectible if it had like zero miles or really low like only a few thousand miles. At end of the day it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. The other thing working against you is the age. It will be hard for someone to finance an older vehicle so now your looking for a cash buyer.... and they don't grow on trees. If you want top dollar advertise in places that specialize it collector vehicles like Hemings etc. If your really adventurous try and sell it at an auction.....

Time2Kill makes one for the trucool 40k. It works perfectly imo.

You lose more than that lol. It's not too difficult to hump the 149 t case. Just run it without the front prop shaft. Highly un-recommended. Buy a used np246 case, swap out the 149. You can run that without a front shaft without harming it.If you disconnect the front diff you're going to lose 40% power. I took off the front drive shaft for a few weeks because I had the same problem.

Front or rear would help your search.

True, but a perfect time to upgrade trans and convert to 149 and t case!Nice score on the "Hoe". I always liked those Gibbs wheels.
With the mileage on her and knowing shes got trans and maybe T-case trouble, I wouldn't be spending major bucks on aftermarket brakes. (But that's just my tight assed opinion).

Very nice. There is a dude selling a front brembo set up (like 4000$ kit) on the performance truck site. Seemed like a good deal to me.
-
Officially sold.
On another note, does anyone have a return style fuel block for they Maggie that wants to trade for returnless??
-
You say master cylinder is hissing? You think you're hearing a vacuum leak? That could cause a running lean issue.
-
They probably have a 4 bolt throttle body. Also, I don't thing the ports will match up. Theirs will probably have rectangular port heads.
-
Yes they do, and if you keep a watch on them at times they'll have free shipping, or free if over $199, or $7.50 flat rate shipping, which even makes the pricing better!
Not bad at all!
-
Nice. I've heard they have good prices. I need to check em out for some .223

Oh shoot I didn't mean to post it three times. Can you tell I have no idea what I'm doing lol. My husbands "name"? On here it's riceeatter I think.
It is a glitch with the site, not you. It has a delay and will post multiple times. Hmm that name does sound familiar. Good luck on your search.
BTW there are some low miles trucks out there. It might be better to buy him a stock low mile truck and let him start with another blank canvas! That's the fun in it imo.
-
Is his name jaymez or something like That? It probably won't help him not noticing that your thread posted three times lol. I don't know why this site does that....

Yeah my dad has a face lift second gen, and he has the TRD blower. I just bought a new 2017 TRD PRO Tacoma and I'm really liking it. It's way faster than a second gen stock for stock, but no comparison with a supercharged 4.0 that's for sure. Looking at a new 4runner now for my wife, and guess what it has??? The 4.0 lol. The new front end looks good to me, but you need the TRD PRO grille.Haven't purchased yet. But I'm looking for a '12-15, after they did the facelift but still with the 4.0 v6. I heard the new ones are weak on power and the trans is constantly searching. Plus I don't like the new front end they put on them.
Another positive side to the older 4.0 v6's is theres a company that's been making very competent, bolt-on, fully tuned blowers for them for years.

I'm pretty sure I see you cruising around from time to time. If you see someone wave in the future out of a blue mk4 Supra or a white Tacoma it's me
What gen Tacoma do you have?

Good looking truck! I like the 20s better on it though.
