  1. come on mario, lets just put an LS7 in that thing. if thats not enough sell your boat and ill twin turbo it :D can you say 650+ whp? :driving: lol

I don't know about that, dude. I think I could get a little more than some twin turbo's if I sold my boat

I think I'm just not feeling it anymore.....at least not for a daily driver. My clients aren't that interested in the fact that I can chirp second gear

  2. really? i had no idea the 122 came with those! damnit now im gunna have 16 of them :banghead: they come in tomorrow, had lingy overnight them..... along with their 100mm maf, some shiny new plug wires, new plugs, and im making a custom intake for it :D. that should attack every possible angle for my missfiring issues. my 122 is like a month out, im gettin a good ol family deal LOL. its always good to make friends with the maggie people ;) .

krambo, i mean the connetors that go from the multec II nonsense to the bosh style. these arent the exact ones im talking about but you get the idea- http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/ln10077.html

im sure the maggie kit comes with something like that right? they are all about plug n play.....

So you're finally going to get the 122? Man, just when I was thinking of selling my truck :banghead:

  3. mario, i find that i have a fair ammount of wind noise comming from the sunroof. i can tell you that its not the windshield, it is pressed on with a thick glue that surrounds the edge of the glass. and you are correct about the doors, the space between the back of the fenders and the front of the doors tends to make some noise. most likely tho, what you are hearing is normal and there isnt much you can do. we can try to find a manufactoring problem again and/or dynamat the sh!t out of that thing :jester:

John - you remember when I had that rental? That thing was quiet - no wind noise whatsoever. Granted, it was a crew cab so maybe a little different structurally. The Dynomat will help with road noise, but wont really help with the wind, will it?

I guess I'll have to live with it.

  4. I recently had my passenger side rear window swapped out. I was a manufacturer's error in the installation. The window wasn't seated right, and a gap remained which caused the dreaded wind noise that most of us have complaned about.

After the swap, which fixed all of the wind coming in through that rear window, I can now hear more wind noise coming in elsewhere. It's the most annoying thing in the world. I don't notice it half the time because i don't get on the expressway that often, but yesterday I traveled just short of 100 miles, back and forth, and the noise was driving me crazy.

Now, my question is, where else could the noise be coming from? Could it be coming from the windshield? Actually, I think it may be coming from the door jams, but I'm not sure.

    What can I do?

  5. John - simply awesome!!!! Sorry I couldn't make it up today. Took the HD for a ride down south.

I can't wait to see it. You gotta feel good right about now. I know you worked hard on this.

    Congrats!

  6. great bike my friend just bought a brand new dyna street bob, i personally want a ness edition victory or the v rod

The Street Bob's are very nice. I looked at one too, but there's something about the Fatboy that I love. Besides, this one already had a bunch of goodies on it.

  7. nice bike man, love the colors. im not an owner, but i learned how to ride on a v-rod lol :P by the way i got that tranny cooler for ya now ;) i dont think ill be needing it for anything anymore :)

I've been jones-ing for some pics, just like everyone else. I've been meaning to get over to the shop to check on your progress, but work has been killing me. I can't wait to see and ride in that monster again.

I may be out riding on Sat, so if you're gonna be at the shop, maybe I'll stop by on the bike.

  8. gettin closer.... i ran her WOT today, im still smiling :D:wub: wow first gear is a monster, and its not too short at all. only thing is i think this clutch is gunna be checkin out in a few months. got the shifter in the ideal position, but the cupholder thing wont fit yet, so no pictures yet. i dont want you guys to see my ghetto ass shifter LOL. and i dont want you guys to see my column shifter is still on lmao (honestly i like to use it as a wrist rest for messing with the radio :P ) once i get it all wired up, cant wait to go to the track (drako, outsource- its track rental time :flag: )

I'm ready when you are Dr. Jones. :driving:

  9. Outsource got it done at kelley cheverolet. (Kelley performance)

It was exepensive however it is done correctly. I was looking for a few places fo a while and just gave up. Eventually I will take it to him.

:withstupid: That is correct! Send a PM to kelleyperformance. I'm sure he'll be a little busy for the next week or so swapping out his tranny to the 6 speed :driving:

  10. As promised, here are pics of how I solved my under dash rattle.

I took a piece of foam wrapping and folded it and wedged it in between the air vent and whatever else is on top of it. This vent is what was rattling. After wedging that in there, the rattle went away. I hope this helps solves someone's rattle problem.
