I'm confused you got them down to a higher price.

In my old truck a 98 Chevy it did that because the spring somehow or another came up missing and I couldnt keep the hood from twisting anf flopping until I got that fixed.

The grills I believe they have 5 piece sets for them I have an 06 as well and am looking to do the same around christmas time let me know what yu find. As far as bowties it seems the majority and I as well will be doing this use SHOPMAN1 bowties he is a member on here send him a PM and he will get back. The one he sent me if I remeber correctly was $85 plus shipping but they look good. You should be able to find threads with pics if you use search feature. Off the top of my head 04CHASE has the on I want in his grill so you can check out his pics. Shopman makes different colors.

Wow I didn't know you get set the rev. limiter up that high. I always thought what the factory had set was it. Shows all I know huh? BUt you increased the shift points acroos the board +3 and 6200 rpm and your now seeing results? Did you mess with the cooling fans yet?Let me know thanks

one thing I am going to try and let me know if you have done this but I found some Hypertech file last night and it suggested cooling fan changes. I didnt change anything due to being stock but I guess they have some suggestions for stock as well FAN 1 on@209 F off@ 200 F...FAN 2 on@219 F off@210F I need to see if this makes a diff. Sorry I am not more in the know so I can help out more. It seems most in here avoid the HP tuners and just send for a PCM tune out right.

What kind of vehicle do you own and year for starters. I have an 06 Intimidator that I set at 5800 rpms and didn't mess with shifting points at all from all the toying around I found that was the only setting to keep my truck from falling on its face after a shift BUT I am new to this to.

I have to say with all this mud slinging going on I am disappointed there were no "your momma " jokes included.

Thanks Zippy I believe your probably right I have my HP tuner set at 5800 and I didn't change the shift points cause when I did the truck seemed to fall on its face.

I know most of y'all in here probably think this is a dumb question but oh well..lol I have looked at my owners manual numerous times and I can not find what the rev limiter is on my truck so I can program it more effectively. I have an 06 Intimidator SS. I believe if I had to guess its 6000 rpms but not sure. Thanks.

well i guess gm did something right by not putting a wing on their trucks... although i do agree with you... the vinyl back seat is hella ugly and cheap... almost as ugly and cheap as... the ram dash <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ultimatley the descision is up to you, but I have friends with doges and I have also driven chrystler products and they just do not seem to hold together over time. Those are just my and my friends experiences so take them with a grain of salt.
