Not on this truck but on my 98 I purchased a valance with fog lights and I just wired it to the parking lamps if you do that no need for any switches your fog lamps wont be on any way until dark.

I usually have them use a heat gun on the windows so I usually only need to wait like 3 days at the most before you role them down and instead of pulling the fuses why dont you just put tape over the switches?
