i got the maguiars leather wipes. its like pouring armor all on your seats lol. works great tho just wipe off with a clean cloth after to get rid of excess, works way better than the black magic wipes. and works on dash and trim very well

thanks dan. idk i know alot of mechanics they cant figure out why the lower hose isnt gettin hot either. its been bothering me. i cant afford to fix my motor especially after my father said not to do anything to it lol. but thanks for the replies. it more at ease. just reading steves how to it said the lower hose would get hot

i pulled the heater hose that goes into the fire wall and the coolant went into the lower hose. so i figured it was an air bubble. well i started it and its the same way it was. i have no idea if its working or not driving me nuts

sorry i guys, thats what my response "ok now what do i do now" meant haha. if its returning to the water pump . i know nothing technical about this stuff. i would think common sense tells me that when it opens the hot fluid should be going through the lower radiator hose

my heat is working and the gauge is reading correct. but that dang hose is cold. it bothers me. since i got the tune for advanced spark because i have a 160 stat. i dont want to mess anything up in the engine if, for some reason its not working. but i swear that hose should be hot.

im assuming that nothing is. when the truck is hot the lower radiator hose is cold. you can feel the temp difference from before and after the stat. after the stat its outside temp and the upper hose is hot as hell.

next time dan, mark and ash or whoever else goes ill give her another few runs with less weight. i know i can get 14.5. just need to give me a little more time at the light to get ready lol.

thats what i would think. but every time i come home from where ever i am. i crawl under the truck and its never hot at all and nothing in it. its warm from the engine heat but no hotter sometimes cold from driving it at night. you can feel the temp difference if you open the hood and feel before and after the stat.

i was thinkin racing stripes on my black truck in flat back. they dont stand out but look pretty cool. i saw it on a mustang. but i dont want vinyl. i would want them painted on and i have no money for that right now.
