  1. i just had a cat back custom exhaust done. ran 3" from the cats back and yes i def can feel a loss in torque. stick with 2.5"
  2. found my answer in another thread, sorry. can this be deleted. thanks
  3. i hammered out of a parking lot the other night, idk if it had anything to do with it, but my speedo stopped at 45mph. it moves tho. instead of starting at zero it starts at 45 and goes up. anyone else have this happen? its not stuck, but it is. it moves, but not back down to zero?????
  4. i know its dirty! haha just got it back from the muffler shop and snapped a pic. i waxed it the day before and then it snowed that morning, figures. my muffler guy is dans automotive in newton nj, "muffler dan". he has done 5 exhausts for me. and my sn is slammedbowtie cuz i have a lowered fullsize truck too.
  5. sorry having problems fitting the pics with 1mg to work with haha
  6. here is my new exhaust. from where the stock pipes connect with the slip fitting/flange i had a 3" X pipe installed. after that i had dual 3" run into two Spintech pro-street mufflers. then out the passengers side in front of the tire. its all 3" aluminized pipe. stainless was too expensive and i will redo the exhaust anyway haha, and they are 3.5 inch chrome plated stainless tips, i wanted 4inch but hey this is good enough. i thought the X pipe was supposed to make it quieter haha. inside it is loud as hell, cant imagine what it sounds like driving by!
  7. i thought the 4300K was more of a yellow white. i got the 6000K thinkin they were bright white but they have a purple hue to them. i will prob go with the 4300 hi beam. i get flashed like crazy
  8. i called them. the difference between the two they offer for the 6.0 is one comes with a thicker gasket to the throttle body, they said the stick mass aif flow sensor gasket is what they send cuz its thicker. so just use the old one. i did and it still isnt tight enough at all. they said tighten the band clamp. yeah ok its gonna close the gap in the plastic tube. bs! im gonna get a rubber plumbing reducer that should work beautifully!
  9. hey guys great vids. i was glad to be there in person. maybe ill get out there on the track with you guys in the spring!
  10. i have the same prob, the stock grommet doest fit tight enough. ill call volant tomorrow

  15. dont bother with that company on ebay acclaim enterprises. his feedback went down ten percent in two days, and 60% is a really really bad feedback rating!
  16. sweet, thanks, got my account back. i asked the seller a question. gotta feel him out. he doesnt have good feedback
  17. im sorry to hear about his loss! haha kissmysilvyss thanks i was just thinkin of looking on ebay. i dont have pay pal cuz my credit card got stolen by from there last year. dylan06ss thanks but im looking for a new one and im on the other side of the country haha.

  19. anyone know who has in stock, the outlaw intakes??? tbyrne doesnt, outlaw doesnt answer. i hear outlaw is pretty much done. but someone has to have them.
  20. i know lots and lots of people on here dont have stock exhausts haha. need some feedback. some people say the pipe size is 2.5 right after the cats. i know the stock pipe for the most part is 2.75. do i reduce it to 2.5 or go with a 3 inch x. anyone else have x's? what size? thanks
  21. go on outlaws website. they show it in the pic and say the new ones dont come with the bladder
  22. did you go with a 3 inch or 2.5 inch x pipe?? everyone says something different. either way. i think im leaving the stock cats. going with either 3 or 2.5 inch x into two mufflers (whatever size the x is) then out the side before the tire.
  23. i know the torque increase prob wont be very noticeable. but i have to have cats! i live in cop central. either hi flow or stock. i dont know if its worth putting hi flows on, like i have said before they are amost the same size as the hi flows, what can be the big difference between them? and putting the x on will make it ever quieter. ugh. i think the x is the right way to go. i just love the real raspy exhaust note from the mufflers and dont want to lose that.
  24. i have read on numerous sites that the x will make it quieter, but with some increase in torque. i dont want quieter i want loud but legal. im puttin pro street mufflers on. but i dont want to sacrifice the sound by installing an x. and by leaving the stock cats if they will make a big difference since they are the same size as the hi flows, will they make that much of a difference? and no headers right now. too expensive and exhaust leaks are my enemy!! haha if that makes more sense??
