  1. Shop out here charged me $500 labor for a McG's 2/4 kit consisting of spindles, hangers, shackles and shocks. Seems high, second opinion.
  2. Looks like we are gonna be out there Sat. Hoe (La Guera) ready to hurt some feelings :-D
  3. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/83863-whos-truck-was-this/?hl=keeeentucky ????
  4. There are a few East Coast guys who have that size, also I believe Eddie ( ss truck) is running that size IIRC If you plan on dropping it more than 2" you may have some rubbing FYI even on a stock +31 offset. Each truck is uniquely different but I've been through it and seen it on others.
  5. Good to know, thanks. I'll let Travieso know, maybe Rey and I can get him out there :-D
  6. Exactly, I usually end up owing CA 500-1K and owe Federal 100 or so. But this year I am going to a new guy plus claiming my step-daughter as a dependent which IS true as I am now supporting her.
  7. Well I'm glad that I was able to help you out so you could share that pic and story with us. Believe me I understand loss, I have worked as a Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice for 9 years now. So it comes natural for me to sincerely want to help those in need from the most simple thing like this to the most complex. As long as it can make a difference for someone that is my ultimate goal. I'm sure your dad was a great man and it was quite a loss for you to lose him. I get the sense you were very close with him and he is who inspired your vehicle hobby. Next time you drive one of your rides, look over to the passenger seat and smile because his spirit will be riding with you. Celebrate his life, don't mourn his death.
  8. Great pics Garrell^ God bless man, take care
  9. Right here man, email them to me: [email protected] I'll upload them to my photobucket and post em for you.
  10. Clean^^ Here's my DD 2010 Merc. GM, demolded/badged, Magnaflows dumped, CAI, 91 tune, 235/60/17 Pirellis Baby tires below More baby tires
  11. Lol, still DD'n it. Gonna save my $$ for now....
  12. This seems to be how Ford owners think. It's like they think therefore they are instead of are because of what is. Believe me I know I own a Ford and talk to a lot of them. I always laugh at them like your shit ain't fast man, believe me I know I have owned a decent fast GM and this Ford isn't even close. There is absolutely nothing special about P71s. They are slow, have plenty of problems of their own but are reliable if maintained properly, just like any other car I guess.
  13. http://www.yelp.com/biz/tonys-tires-sun-valley Call and ask for Rafael.^ Irritated with these guys though now. I ordered a set of tires for my car. I show up 2 days later and nobody knows anything, no tires, Rafael isn't there, no one spoke English and there was just chaos with floor jacks rolling everywhere hitting my car. But hey it's Sun Valley, what else could I expect? lol
  14. TruTrac is by far the best choice for a diff. It allows for real all the time 2 wheel lock up as well as allows for differentiation between the tires when turning.
  15. Richard here are the plug #s to answer your question on that: NGK TR6ix - 3689 are the iridiums with a projected 100K service life pre-gapped in .030s NGK TR6 - 4177 are the copper ones with a 25-30K service life also pre-gapped in .030s NGK BR6EF - 3177 are the even colder than above^ with your setup I don' think those are necessary. The TR6 4177 will be sufficient for you but they will need changing after 25-30K as they are copper. If you want to spend a little more on iridiums go for it as these will not need to be changed for at least 75K. I say in .030s because every single time I have done plugs especially these the gap is off. So get a gap tool and check and gap at .032 as stated above. That's the gap you want on SC'd application. In SoCal Napa is the best place to get these, they can have them same day usually. Most auto parts stores won't carry these specific NGKs. Now is this your problem? Not sure, good luck! Let us know....
