  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I just got back into town and will try cleaning TB and MAF. Ill reply back with update.
  2. I just got my SSS back from the tint shop and everytime I come to a stop my truck either stalls out or the RPMs drop real low. Other than this the truck runs great. The air filter is clean. I ran a few bottles of Seafoam through it and ran about 2 tanks of gas through it and then changed the fuel filter. It is not showing any codes and I dont have the slightest idea what could be causing this. Any help is greatly appreciated. The truck is a 2003 awd SSS. Thanks in advance.
  3. I avg about 15 around town and 20-21 highway in my SS. If I drive it like a grandma around town I can get 17-18 mpg. My tahoe with the 5.3 that has active fuel management and still only gets 13.6. wtf?
  4. Awesome picture. Just one suggestion, move the white truck so you dont see its reflection in your paint.
  5. Back to ugly trucks. In my town we have this guy that has a green 03 silverado sportside with 14 inch wheels with gold spokes, running boards that also extend up an over fenderwells with chrome trim, chrome trim on doors, chrome door handles, gold antenna, gold windshield wipers, chrome bed rails, and some other hideous crap . The thing that really bothers me about this truck is that he put SS emblems on it . I love driving by him in a real SSS though.
  6. Just got back from my dealer. I asked them about the new steering shaft. They say there is no info about a new shaft and are just going to relube the damn thing again. Does anybody know where I can get the information about the new shaft to take to my dealer?
  7. 2003 SS AWD 26000 miles, had replaced once already, taking it in this week to get replaced for the second time. PM me for anything you need from me. Thank you for doing this.
  8. Are you talking about a limited slip diff or a full on locker? If you want a limited slip or posi, Detroit Locker makes a unit called the Detroit Truetrac. It replaces the spider gears in your rear diff. I have one in my Blazer. It works great. If you want a full on locker they also make the Detroit Locker. This unit unlocks around turns (makes a little bit of clunking noise when it engages and disengages) and then locks when driving in a straight line, I had this in a Z71 and liked it as well. They also make and electric locker where you can just push a button and your all locked up.Go to DetroitLocker.com for info.
