  1. i have a set of prw 1.7 roller tip rockers. installed them and started the engine for about 30 total minutes of run time. rockers are in like new condition and they are still on the truck. decided to put on the stock rockers with the trunion upgrade instead. looking to swap for a complete electric cutout or a complete with brake pedal hydroboost setup. i have a set of valve cover spacers for $75 if your interested. let me know. text me 209-676-1984 my internet has been messing up. will sell the set up for 300 shipped if anyone is interested.

  5. looking to buy aftermarket heads for my ls 383. i have been looking at PRC stage 2.5 ls6 heads. i would like a good set of used heads to save me a bit of money. im running short on funds as i had to have a FAST LSXRT and i pissed off the wife. if you guys have a set of good CNC ported heads let me know. thanks
  6. so i took my truck in to have the axle seals replaced as i was having issues with the drivers side having a leak. after the seals were replaced i cleaned my garage floor and parked her for the night. in the morning again more oil on the floor. so after another inspection there is a plastic plate just above the axle seal on the drivers side. anyone ever get a leak in this spot and if so what parts do i need to fix it?
  7. awesome. i was worried i was going to have to seperate the diff. so its just a hard tap on the flange and they pop out huh? i guess i will have to do both sides today
  8. i bought my wife an 03 escalade esv which essentially has the SS drivetrain in it. my question is that i have a leaky axle seal on the drivers side. how do i get it out? after i unbolt the axle and pull her out is there a way to unbolt that axle mount and get to the seal behind it?

  10. so tried to start it up and take it down and have the cat put in. its running on about 4 or 5 cylinders and shooting black smoke out the exhaust. WTH???
  11. i ordered my harness from a buddy of mine on another forum but i think it is pin 13 on the blue wire harness. my 2000 is numbered but ill try and get a pic for you tomorrow
  12. thats weird the ones in my silverado are original with 240K on them. i guess i got lucky. i found one at AutoZone for 170 so im having it put in tomorrow. ill let you guys know what happens once the old one is cut out. thanks for all the help so far.
  13. i dont see or smell any fuel under it. but it deffinitly runs rich. someone told me to put a pressure guage in the upstream O2 sensor and if i have positive pressure over 3psi then its a clogged cat. has anyone heard truth to that as well?

  16. so i am about to purchase a intake manifold for my truck. someone offered up a NNBS intake with the stock 42# injectors throttle body and all fuel lines for 300. will this bolt up to my 5.3L and be as good as a TBSS intake? i know the throttle body will not work but it just means i have to buy a bigger aftermarket one. i just dont want to spend 300 on something i cant use. i somehow put this post in the wrong section and im trying to delete the old one.
  17. im guessing that may explain the rattling sound i am hearing when i try and accelerate.

  19. no i did not. well im glad i dont have to buy a fuel pump now that should save me a buck or two. but now i have to figure out where the issue is. bank 1 is on the passenger side right?
  20. going to try and clean that in the morning. the truck does have 106K on it. but what about the fuel pressure. it does seem kind of low does it not?
