  1. Thanks guys, but I prolly won't have to much of my work there, only select few pictures, plus what ever I do on my covers. The time that I have, will not allow me enough time to do mine. I'll only to do some flames and maybe some skulls on mine for the time being. My plan is to paint my truck black and add flames like Chases truck. I really love the way Patrick did his. So I'm going to make mine like that one day, but only alittle different and with a mural on the hood. Plus, I'll have to put a shine on my truck like it's never had before and clean up the engine bay before the show. Hopefully some of you Vegas guys can make it out to support the SS's and chebby's. Terry
  2. I met a new friend today at Auto Bahn Excellence in Henderson. Trent's company is a one stop shop that does everything from auto detailing to superchargers. I was out today delivering some flyers for my new airbrush studio, and I stop in at his shop today. He was doing a photo shoot in the shop with some very hot looking girls (photos in the ad) and some great looking cars. I've been trying to get my airbrush company started and I ran into him today. He needs an additional artist to start airbrushing artwork on some of his stuff, such as motorcycles, exotic cars, vettes, trucks, etc. So we were talking and I was telling him what my plan was. He needs an artist that lives here in Vegas to do some of his work for him, and I agreed that I would. Hopefully it will be start of something big for me. Attached is a link to his site with the info and address. Anyway, he will be having a car show at his shop on Jan. 3rd, here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/autobahnexcellence. I'll be there for sure in the morning to set up my space for the show. Hopefully all you Vegas guys can make it out and check everything out or even enter the show. Let me know. I'll have to hurry and paint some flames on my engine covers for the show. I wanted to paint something spectacular for my covers and plastic parts, but I guess I won't have time since the show is so soon. Terry
  3. It's ok. I'm not looking for anything. Just glad you guys are happy with them. I still have a crap load left if anyone would like some. Just send me a PM with your name and address, and I'll send you some out. Eric, those look nice on there. It looks like they do reflect. So when someone is shining their lightsin your direction, then they will know its an SS.
  4. I was cleaning out my garage and found a new set of DJM 2" drop shackles that I had from my old truck. The reason i ask, is because I took off my spare tire an towing hitch to make the truck lighter for the track. It sits up higher than normal in the rear, like a regular truck instead of the SS look. I was wondering if I installed them, if it would level it out or if it would drop it to much. Anyone drop just the back on our trucks? Thanks, Terry
  5. Here's what I do, and some people may do it different, but they go on the same way. First I'll rub the pre-mask tape to the sticker pretty good on a flat hard surface to ensure that the decal comes off with the pre-mask (white paper). Then I'll clean the object that you are putting it on real good, and use some rubbing alcohol on it too just to be sure its good and clean. Third, once the "all" of the decal comes of with the pre-mask tape, I'll spray just a light spray of windex or soapy water on the sticky side of the decal and pre-mask so it can move around alittle. This is so you can get it centered on the object that you are installing it on. You'll be able to tell when you've put to much on, because it will take forever for the pre-mask tape to come off the decal once installed. Forth, once you have centered the decals, gently squeegee out the bubbles and the remaining windex or soapy water, but make sure that the decals didn't move on you. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the process, (NO HEAT GUN) but not to much or you will melt the lettering. Once this is dry enough, take off the pre-mask "Slowly" so that the decal stays on, and the pre-mask comes off. Then, if there are any bubbles left in the decals, you can gently squeegee them out or use the hair dryer to shrink them out too. Hope this helps with everyone. I gave some of you more than what you asked for just in case you make a mistake. Enjoy!! Terry
  6. Well, I know alot of you get to see the new Camaro, but this was my first in person. I just had to take some pics of it and share. I was out going to the bank yesterday, and this SS Camaro was in the parking lot and at the furthest part of it too. I don't blame them either. I can't stand door dings. I do the same with mine too. Anyway, here's some pics of it. I really like the yellow with the racing strips. It's a bad a$$ car! Terry
  7. Glad too, just give me a PM with your name and full address. Terry
  8. They will go away after time. At least they should. It's like installing window tint, you have to set your truck in the sun for a few days. Did you squeegee out the bubbles before taking off the pre-mask? That usually helps, but they look really good. Here's a tip too. Can't remember how many I gave to you, but you get some krylon "Bright silver" paint at wal-mart for a few bucks and some primer, and spray your bowtie silver to make it look like billet, be sure to clear coat it, wait a couple of days and then put the red decals on. Just don't get any chrome paint, because when you clear coat it, it will turn colors. At least thats what I would do until you get a billtet one. Terry
  9. Thanks guys. Glad to see you got them already. get some pics. Terry
  10. Guys, I don't mind sending you some decals, but if some of you could donate some stamps I would greatly appreciate it. I've been getting ALOT of requests, and my stamps are going very quickly. Thanks, Terry Terry Youngheim 1358 Winter Solctice Ave. Henderson, NV 89014
  11. Those lined up pretty well. Good, I'm glad you enjoy them. Terry
  12. Looks good Art. Runn'n nice. What's the deal with the QC Hemi pulling on you at the line? It our damn 3:73 gearing isn't it. GM should have installed a 4:10 on all the SS's from the factory.
  13. Your going to love your new cam man. I know I love mine.
  14. All PM's returned. Mailed out for 4 people today. You should get them in a few days. I'll make a how-to on the application for the decals for the ones that don't know how to apply them. Terry
  15. Thanks guys. I wish I had some silver birch to, but he didn't have any of that color in vinyl. He might get some next month. If you guys want any, please give me a PM. I've already answered a few PM's and going to send some out tomorrow. Just let me know what you color you want and your address. Terry
  16. Here's a pic of them on the bowtie. I should have centered it alittle better. It looks a little to low. I guess I can try another one. "Wicked", your right on the lettering. The left top and bottom corners of the S is to SQ compaired to the pic below, but you can't really tell when they are on the truck. They we were free, and I'm giving them away, so I guess it wouldn't matter to much. "03maSSS" give me a PM with your address, and I'll send you some. Terry
  17. If anyone needs any vinyl SS decals, let me know. My brother-n-law made me a bunch. He sent me the yellow ones as a templet so when I paint them on your bowties. I've got a bunch in different colors, but don't have the silver birch (sorry) It looks like the metallic blue ones glow in the dark when a light hits them. The size is 1 7/8" tall x 3 1/2" long, and fits great on the billet bowtie's or whatever you want them for. I've already got a red one on my billet bowtie and it looks good. I'll snap a pic tomorrow of it on the bowtie. Colors are: Metallic blue Red Black Terry
  18. Thanks guys, another happy customer. Patrick has been good to deal with too, and I'm sure he will love his covers for the years to come. Terry
  19. Just asking. I don't know much about them both or how fast they are. Not saying that I haven't seen them, just never seen them run. It's still a beautiful car man, looks very nice.
  20. I know this is an old post, but if anyone doesn't like theirs and wants to give it away, let me know. Because I am one who does like it and wants one really bad. I plan on painting my truck black one of these days with some true fire like Chase's truck and would like to have one. Just can't afford to buy one right now. Terry
  21. I've got mine under the frame support that is over the e-fans. Then the rad. shroud sits over that. It's secure place that doesn't bounce around and ruin your ballest. plus I bolted mine to the frame. Terry
  22. I'm jealous!! Need to go out a run new SRT Challanger. Who would win?
  23. Thanks guys. Yeah, this black bitch doesn't die. She's a tough cookie, and she is in attack mode too.
  24. Here's a battery cover that I made out of an old plastic drawer. I just cut it to fit and starting painting on it, and I'll just use some commerical strenght velcro to hold it on. When I start painting all of my stuff, I want the engine bay to be almost all covered with artwork, except for the metal parts. I've still got the spider webs to do, clean up the black widow and change the fire. I'm not happy with the fire. Enjoy Terry
