  1. I cannot seem to post the pics of my truck. I've got photobucket, the site won't let me post them. Why not?
  2. better to use the SEARCH button or start a new topic if you cant find your answers after searching cause you basically just jacked this thread with something that has nothing to do with it. But welcome to the site <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just a thought, but try it with-out the volant. When I bought my truck brand new, I had a volant system from my old truck, and I lost low end TQ. I couldn't believe it!! But it was hot as hell out. So I switched back to the stock and it went back to normal. I've read some threads where you can sometimes lose power with the volants, don't ask why, but they just do. Some trucks are funny like that I guess. Now the weather is cooler, I put it back on, and its fine, has good power, except with the a/c on, its a dog.
  3. Did you get just the muffler from them?
  4. What about spintech? I heard they are pretty good. It has the sound of a flow, and you don't lose low end torque. Anyone have one?
  5. Hey guys, I have a couple of questions about a custom Volant air dam. I've got the CAI from Volant and I built my own air dam. I went to Lowes and got some 4"in PCV piping with a 90*, a adapter to fit the bottom of the box, and turned it into the air dam so I can get a few more ponies out of it. Theres two questions I have for this. #1. The bottom of the air box is a 3" hole, and the reason I bought the 4", is because I thought maybe, more air, more power? Or is it to much air? #2. I cannot seem to find something that will look like the scoop part from Volant. Has anyone else made one of these before? I thought about getting an a/c duct and modifiying it fit on the air dam. But I can't seem to find one that fits. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. That would be great man!! I live in Henderson. Let me know when you come out, we'll hook up. I live behind Sunset Station at a housing development called Emerald valley off of Stephine and Warm Springs. So let me know. thanks
  7. Its great living in Vegas! Some of the beautiful girls are here. I don't have a gambling problem though. I guess when you live a city for along time, you just get use to it. Just like any where else. And yes, I'll be at the Sema show too. Can you believe that I've lived here 16 yrs, and have never been to one?!! It been just this last couple years that I have really gotten into trucks. I've always been into racing jet ski's. but now, I really love my turck.
  8. Yes, its true. What ever you do in Vegas stays here. Nobody will ever know what you do here.LOL So, how did you like your tune? I'm thinking about going with a Nelson tune, I heard they are pretty good and get great results. I can't wait to open up the 6.0 power!! It's pretty fast now, but I heard the options are unlimited. I'll post a pic of my ride.
  9. Hello, I just joined this website, and wanted to say hi. I'm from Las Vegas and bought my SS a couple of months ago, and damn proud to have one. It has to be the nicest truck I've ever owned! I like everything about it. I plan on doing some mods to it, but not sure when. The first thing I want to do is get an exhuast and a tune. I'm sure I can learn alot from you guys.
