Why a 308? 6.5 Creedmore and 260 Remington are far better calibers if you plan on ever stretching its legs. I personally shoot 260 and have just recently gotten into large frame gas guns. I'm having a barrel spun up in 260 Rem as well.
If you want a factory 308 that will more than likely out shoot you look at the following.
Remington 700 AAC-SD (But replace the god awful stock they come with)
Remington 700 5R Milspec
Remington 700 Tactical Target
Remington 700 SPS Tactical (Again replace the rubber crap stock)
All 4 are great sticks and you can build whatever you want off of a 700 actions. Below are 2 of mine. The 300WM is a 5R Milspec with a bunch of changes and the 260 is a Crescent Custom built 260Rem on a 700 action
260 Rem
150yd target (by called I mean I said F&*K! lol)
300Wm
Get into shooting some distances... You will fall in love!

Thanks man. Yeah I want to get it out this spring but its pointless to take it with this stall so I need to get a new one in it before I do that. This stall has been a tight one. It has never let me stall over 2800 no matter how much power I have throw at it lol, stubborn little thing . Did you ever get your stall problem worked out? Looks like you have put down a good time since I've been on last.I might be giving circle d a call and see what they got going. The stall I got now is a billit tcs converter and I just had it refreshed two months ago when I had the Trans oUT and told them I wanted it looser but they said they couldn't loosen it much.

It supposedly comes with one...at least I hope. This is the description...
These Trick Flow® heavy-duty differential covers feature cast aluminum construction and extreme-duty bearing cap support studs for uncompromised differential protection. Jam nuts, support studs, stainless steel ARP bolts, 3/8 in. magnetic drain plug, and a gasket are included.
FYI. That is not the same as studs for the bearing caps.

Do you still have MP122 for sale?
Almost 3 years later...seriously?... Google has failed you!

Cool hopefully they are also the correct thread and pitch.

Awesome, thank you gentlemen! I ended up going with this one just because it looked better to me http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-8510300
I did end up having to buy metric, stainless ARP's though because it only comes with SAE. Those F***ers alone cost me over 30$...sheesh!
Did you order a stud kit?

For the rear? I had my tech do it - he just installed the parts I bought, but I wasn't aware I needed anything else. Do you have part numbers?

Nittos drag radials will last about 7K on the street without much racing and I hope they hook for you because everyone I know that ran them hated them at the track. Your saving grace is the AWD. We ran them on F bodies and mustangs. Once The Mickeys came out we all switched and that made huge difference on the track.

You can still buy these new for around 100.00
Part numbers are below
center - 12579166 (Vortec 6000)
center - 12598332 (Vortec Max)
left - 12597908
right - 12574573 -
Corsa on every V8 I have owned in the last 10 years. Even my 32 ford has Corsa Black box mufflers on it.

JG shut down their production and sold off all parts in 2006/7. When they do pop up for sale they are normally seen around 400-500 bucks.

bump, thinking about pulling the supercharger, wheels, and tonneau off and trading it in, thought i'd give the sell one more try. $25k as it sits. $22k without the wheels and tonneau. may consider a lower price if i get a reasonable offer for the supercharger kit.
The side mount non IC whipples don't bring much money now with the newer TVS blowers out and about. The blower system alone is worth maybe 2k on a good day and with someone not knowing what they are buying.

a little off your topic.. you keeping the D1?
D1 was sold over a year ago.

Don't forget to change your coolant.... Hopefully it was done at 5yr cause it's rated for 5yr/100k. If you want AC Delco at a fair price go to Rock Auto the have good prices and they ship to your door. I have been using them for last few years, I only buy factory parts from them and have been happy. FYI AC Delco has a mail in rebate on plugs until the end of the year I think....
Not all AC Delco is created equal. They have several different lines of parts ranging from crap to OEM

So are you looking to install more bolt ons and a cam -or- actually build an engine for it? Title is confusing.
-
Cheap and easy...... don't go hand and hand.
-
Also paying the price for a forged wheel on a daily is quite a sacrifice haha
gotta pay to play as they say.....
-
Hell of a deal! I was going to ask why you didn't wait for that new '16 front end, but you wouldn't be able to pick one up for that price for a while. Looks good as is. Chrome bumpers are the new rarity lol. Every truck I see if HD front end and color matched everything now days lol.
Just curious if it is 2wd or 4x4? Ill be in the market very soon for a new truck, but I "need" 4wd. Lol
My truck is a 2WD... I wouldn't buy a 2016...too much crap I would have to change to make it decent looking.

Got me beat... I have been here almost 10 years lol
