Yes that is only half the equation. That assumes that the springs are 100% identical in spring rate for open and closed pressure. Brians springs have always been really close. I would check to be safe. Im also telling you this so you know for future use.
As far as factory out of the box heads always being perfect, I have to disagree strongly with this. My first set of new factory castings were off by enough to warrant adjusting key height. The last 2 sets had to be milled as they were used and shims were a must to set the springs up correctly.

Hi everyone just a fan of the SS but many of you helped me answer many of my build questions to swap out my 250k 5.3L in a 2000 ECSB z71 to a mild built lq9. Finally have the engine to start this project
Lq9 6.0L out of a 04 escolade with 135k
mods that will be done while its on the engine stand
-Ls7 lifters
-hardened pushrods
-ported ls6 oil pump
-PRC LS6 Ported heads
-PRC singles valve springs rated 650 lift
-xr275hr 112lsa comp cam
-8.1l marine injectors
-Pacesetter long tube headers
-catless y-pipe
-circle D 3k stall
-05 up e fans
Everything on your list looks good except 2 important things.
The LS6 oil pump is not but some casting smoothing that can be done by hand, and a tool steel shim that you can make in 3 minutes. Not really a real cost effective part.
I would strongly suggest you use BTR lifter instead of the LS7. The LS7 lifters have had many many failures lately.

I'll see if i can do that... I'm to the point now where I want to just put a clutch fan back on it bc i have so many dang problems with it... it's burnt up 5 alternators bc of the huge amount of draw it's putting on the system, it always wants to run hot , to me it's just not worth it
Just build your own harness. It sounds like some funking stuff going on.

I'd show her some wellness and fitness.

with all due respect man. I wouldn't be messing around on this forum with that at home. I'd be messing on her.
That is all.

This happens every year around spring time.

I'm using hp tuners
This is an easy fix then. Go to the tune repository and pull a factory 05-06 truck file and look at the fan section for what the factory uses. I don't have my software in front of me to give you the info that I run on mine.

Ive never had to alter the spring height in the past. I run the recommended springs for the cam. I havent received my cam or cam card yet, but recommended spring height should be on it. Ill check spring height when i get those specs. Should i anticipate having to add shims or machine the spring seat??? Thanks for chiming in and making sure i dont miss an important step..
Every set of BTR springs I have used have required setting the key height. You need to measure open pressure and closed pressure. I would call BTR and ask them for the numbers that they suggest for your application.

what software are you using?
-
Stick some of BTRs lifters in it and you wont have that issue. DO NOT USE LS7 lifters!
Edit* Why is this in the How To Section?

I can take some pics and send them to you if you'd like. The person I bought the truck from almost immediately changed out the exhaust system after he bought the truck new back in '04, so I would say there's no more than a few thousand miles on them. He gave me the cats and all the original parts he swapped out when I bought the truck from him - he saved everything in case he or anyone ever wanted to put it back to stock.
How about $150.00?
Now that's cheap for 2 factory very low mileage cats. This guy better jump on that deal.

Remember that oranges and reds will cost a lot more than greys and blues.
If you are into Grey I would strongly suggest Grigio Silverstone that is a Factory Ferrari color. The contrast it gives in any lighting situation is just insane.
If you are into oranges and a deep cherry look at SOM. I painted my 84 SCSB that color and it was beautiful.

I would love to know some data for this. Whipple was the first to have a 50-state legal system for the LS based trucks in 1999 and led the industry for nearly 5 years before anyone even came close. Whipple redesigned there systems to have the biggest intercooler core, 2.3 liter twin screw supercharger, huge heat exchanger, massive area above and below the intercooler surfaces (vs others have little to no room for air change of direction), intercooled bypass system, comes with SCT flash tools (no shipping PCM's in) and makes more power per pound of boost than any other PD SC.
Your customer service sucks. The other problem with you guys is you send shit out that doesnt fit. Having to get in a pissing contest because you cant manage to properly clearance a inlet to a throttle body where it will actually open... what a joke. Then the customer sends you a bill for the work that had to be done to make the hunk of junk you sold run... Hahaha you paid half of it. You guys at whipple are a damn joke!
