thanks to all that replied!!!
i've decided to retain the stock look and do the "how to" and just black out the amber corners. also plan on havin a pro. painter do my tailights. that way the finish on the lights will match my trucks gloss!

to start off, i have exhaust, and a tune. and i have no idea what he had (early 2000 model.)
me and my gf just left the movies (saw the departed, excellent!) it was late (the movie lasted 3hrs) around 12pm-1am. i was actually gonna be turrning left at a light, when he pulled in the farthest lane at the right. then he started revin up his car and rolled down his window givin me "the look". so i backed up and pulled up next to him. (with my gf's permission, usually she dont like me doin this stuff) and we went at green. i took him right off the line and held a good car to a car an a 1/2 lead on him. we were headin outta town and got up to about 70-80ish before we shut them down. then i turned around and headed home...it was fun, and i got my first kill in my sss!!! hope there are many more to come!
damn i luv this truck!
-
never seen an srt8 jeep in person...guess they're not popular around here.
-
You may check out Niche F18's the come in black and crome and the size you want. They are similar in style and I believe would look bad ass on your truck. Just my opinion.
check them out here
i do like those. but it seems that they are specified for cars not trucks...plust i'm sure that they're not as "cheap" as the american racing wheels... thanks for the heads up though.

Nice wheel for the money, havent done me wrong yet although there about to come off for winter
Theres more pics in "my garage" under the sig
they really are awesome. sporty yet eye appealing. plz dont think that im tryin to bite your style bro! it just took me forever to find a wheel i like. and it so happens to be on your truck...and least i know u have good taste!
-
she must have seen alot of stuff....
-
go to www.wheelguyz.com/shop and you can put the rims on an SS and see what they look like, they have an interactive system.
well my comp. wouldnt upload the interactive deal. and they didnt have the wheel i wanted anyhow....
-
thanks for the heads up! i'll def. check out that cite. it was either these or the "eagle wheels 025's" i just like the looks of these better. i was gonna go black, cuz im not a big fan of chrome. (i'd rather have a grey, or alloy look. or even black chrome/gunmetal) but i just cant do black on black. its too much for my blood.

i didnt think the altima's came in a 3.8???
i thought they were 3.5L about 265hp to the fly...
maybe a sentra se-r???
They started droppin in a 3.8 in 2005 I think
i work for nissan. (car salesman) and all of our v6 motors are 3.5 liters. even the ones in the frontier(which by the way, produce more hp than a smaller v8 dodge!) are v6's are of the "VQ" family. one of the most decorated v6 motors ever. it orginated in 1994. and i dont know why i said sentra se-r. they come with a 3.5 liter as well. while a base sentra comes w/a 1.8L. except our new sentra's (2007) come with a 2.0L standard.
-
i luv the 5 spoke look. and i think this will really show off the calipers and rotors. allow more air to get to the brakes as well...plus i think their just hott!!!
standalone pick:

and yeah its a ford, but u can see what they'll look like on black:
http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i75/cwhouser/dropcrop.jpg
plan on going with a 20" x 8.5" with 275/55's in either the toyo proxes or the hankook ventus'.
-
yeah, discounttiredirect.com is offerin a $25 rebate on the proxes..
-
-
wheelies all day long!!!
-
after further consideration it seems that the center cap leans more to the offroad status, as previously stated....looks like i gotta find sumthin else!!! back to the drawing board...
heres what i can get discounts on (let me know if there is a HOTT wheel by any of these manufacturers):
kmc
xd series
sr racing
lorenzo forged
moto metal
helo
alba
lowenhart
diamo
quantum tek

asanti
oe creations
enkei
a&l racing

after further consideration i think i'll just stick with the DIY.
-
the reason i was wanting thses is cuz i can get them through the dealer for $175 a piece for 20x9's. thats a steal!!!! i can get the chromed ss ones (look just like stock) but im not into chrome...at all.
-
check for rattles in the steering column. i just got mine used a couple weeks ago, and it has this problem.
-
