  1. Kelley Performance, had the fuel pressure check today; at idle it was a little over 60psi and in real hard accelarate/ boost it drop down to maybe 54-52 psi and the belt almost fell off again!! Pat.
  2. I'm running a Radix 112 on my 06 SS with the 2.9 pulley ( seeing 106% on the injectors) do I need the bigger 60 lb injectors, if yes does anyone make a plug&play set (with pigtails so you don't have to splice wire) for our SS trucks? Pat.

Kelley Performance, I think the differents between the 112.00 and 110.50 belt is a inch and a half ( the 112.00 is one hundred twelve inches long/ 110.50 is one hundred ten and a half inches long) ok so idle pressure should be 58psi, what should wot pressure be? SS Thunder, no I didn't get the instruction on how to adjust the tensor I had someone install the blowerkit for me! I'll call Magnacharger to see if they'll sent it to me ,if not can I get it from you? Pat.
  6. Kelley performance, I'm taking it to the shop thursday. what should the pressure be? I'm starting to think maybe the fuel pump wasn't change in the gas tank( check the box with the old parts and there is no old fuel pump)! on the belt I was running a 110.5 on the 2.9 with the 3.3 it had the belt that came with the kit 112.00 I think, but the truck has thrown the belt on both pulley's!! guys thanks for helping!!!   7. ok I'll try to make this short; I put a Radix 112 on my 06 SS about two months ago with the 3.3 pulley and mid-length headers it made 370hp to the wheels ( seems low). Now this weekend I change the pulley to a 2.9 it made 410hp to the wheels a/f on one dyno run was 13.2 after adding some fuel another run was 12.8 the injectors were maxing out to 106 ( thought the 42's were good for 500hp). Has anyone else run into this problem oh yea I keep throwing belts too!! What can I do to fix these problems? Pat.

I change my Radix 3.3 pulley to a 2.9 and went to a dyno/tuner to see some new numbers, with the 3.3 it made 370hp to the wheels, today with the 2.9 it made 410hp to the wheels! we were having trouble with the injector rate at 106 it was causing the truck to shut-down at 5000rpm!! I thought the 42's were good for up to 500hp!! is there anything wrong or do I need to change to bigger injectors ? oh by the way a/f ratio was 12.8 -13.2. Pat.

  11. I have a 06 SS with a maggie supercharger I'm getting ready to change the pulley on it to the 2.9, are there any tuners in southern California that I can get a custom tune or would a mail order one work? Pat
  12. I just had a Radix install on my 06 SS a couple weeks ago, I going to change the pulley to a 2.9 and get a custom tune!! The questions I have are: can I have it custom tune before I have the shift kit install or do I need to install the shift kit first? If The tuner should ask: what rpm should the tranny shift at, does he increase the line pressure, should he remove torque management, is there anything else ? Thanks in advance for you help! Pat.
  13. I'm sorry I won't be much help but my belt just tore apart on my truck and the blower only been on maybe 2-3 weeks so if anyone knows what is causing this please let us know!! Thanks. Pat.
  14. Kelleyperformance, I don't have anything to send, all I can tell you is the a/f was in the low 10's!! The dyno shop I went to can only tell you hp/ tq and a/f ratio it doesn't have any tuning software. I guess I'll have to wait until Bryan gets his software updated! Pat.
  15. Wizard, it was done on a dynojet!! Kelleyperformanc..., 409hp with just a 3.2 pulley and 80mm throttle body, anything else I have the 3.3 pulley with headers and only making 370hp! SSThunder, I talk to Bryan about putting on the 3.0 pulley and a custom tune, he said I'll need to wait about 15 days so he can up date his software. I guess thats why he didn't tune it in the first place! Pat.
  16. 2004 Denali, Mark what engine do you have and what hp was it rated at? Pnblwzd, it was dyno somewhere else after I pick it up! The reason I didn't go for the 122 was told the bigger throttle body wouldn't work on my 06!! Are you saying if I put the 3.0 pulley on I won't need a custom tune? Pat
  17. Thanks guys for all your replys!! It is a superchip tune, but Magna Charger states that with this set-up it will increase the rear wheel hp by 120 hp. I mean wouldn't you think a 6.0 L that makes 345hp to the crank should be somewhere around 275-285 hp to the wheels with headers and a Magnaflow muffler? When I pick the truck up I ask Bryan if he had any ideal what kind of hp it was making to the rear wheels he said maybe 400 to 425hp which to me sounded about right. What kind of gain would I see with a custom tune and maybe a 3.0 pulley? Pat.
  18. I have a 06 SS that just had a new radix 112 supercharger installed by Blown Chevy. I'm very happy with the work he did, but I am a little disappointed with the dyno results.With the truck having mid-length headers and magnaflow muffler and the 3.3 inch pulley on the blower it made 370hp to the rear wheels !! That doesn't seem right, I was thinking/ hoping it would make 425hp maybe 450hp!!! Does anyone know what kind of hp a stock 6.0L engine makes to the rear wheels? I don't know maybe I was expecting to much, what do you guys think? Pat.
  19. Bassani mid-length are carb legal in fact they have the tag right on the header! I just put a set on my SS and noticed a difference. if you want a set pm me and I'll give you the guy's number were I got my from (killer deal). Pat.
  20. Does a 06 SS Silverado have a 4l60e tranny or a 4l65e??? I'm looking at a Jet performance electronic shift kit that has a knob you turn to control how hard the tranny shifts! A guy at the transmisson shop put one in a 05 Corvette and said it work great! Would you use one or just install a shift kit? thanks Pat.
