I have a VortecMax that is silver birch and 17" stock alloys. I really want to toss a set of 22" SS reps on the truck but cant afford it now and prob for a while. Just tinted the tail lights also. My question is, do you think it would look ok to paint them black? Here is some pics.

The 6.2L has 403 HP stock vs our 345HP. With 417 ft/lb tq vs our 385 ft/lb tq. The denali also has a 3.42 rear end. Atleast in the new one. Not to mention curb weight of an SSS is around 5000-5100 lbs. With the denali sitting around 5300-5500lbs.

If you are sure its the deck that is making the noise. Try grounding it somewhere else and not use the ground that comes in the harness (run a little wire and ground off to the chasis that's unpainted). Guess you can always try grounding it at the battery. Turn the truck on and test it before you put it back. If that doesn't work... My last car had a motor swap and they didn't connect all my grounds properly on the motor. Caused me to have bad alternator whine. This was through the speakers though.
