I have the magnaflow magnapacks. I'm guessing that's what the bullet type is. I can vouch for those and say they will give a very loud and raspy sound. I personally like it. Sounds like you have alternator whine due to a bad ground or a ground loop. Do you have an amp on the system? If so check both grounds on head unit and amp. Also could be cheap rcas if an amp is being used. Either through the speakers or through the unit itself. You need to check all your grounds on the system. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2

Do you have to drop the trans to install a shift kit? Or can I install everything without unbolting the tranny? How about a 4th super hold servo? Can that also be done like the vette servo? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2

I've pulled a 350 from 55mph roll (sweet spot) and a dig and had him both times the whole way. Hood by my door throughout though. He was stock. Caught a different one at a light not to long ago. Turned my music down and asked if he wanted to take it. He nodded. I ripped first on him so bad that he didn't even try afterwards. Also pulled a 370 from a 55mph roll but he ended up passing slowly. Same motor (350) in g35 which I took from a stop and he was by the tail gate. Depends on their driver too. This automatic truck makes it to easy. Edit. That 40mph roll sucks with 4.10s. Too high to swap to first and to low to hit the powerband. I've had a few catch me stuck in that 40mph roll and they think they win. Aggrevating. I'm sure with 3.73s its a little different.

Thanks man! It for sure tightened the shift between first and second and I would recommend doing it to anyone. Great addition for 20$ and simple with a little patience. There was a tiny bit of extremly small metal shavings when I took the old one out. Cleaned everything before putting the new one in. Prob wont turn down the line pressure, doesnt seem like I need to. Just wish if/when I get my shift kit I could do it myself. Costs twice as much to get it installed than it is to buy the parts.

I love the 22" SSS Reps. Not on the list but thats what I will be going with.

Just finished installing my vette servo. Finally breaking tires on second gear . What a pain while the transmission was in the truck. I could barely get the servo out of the trans. Happy camper here. For a little while there I didnt know if I was inclined enough to do this. Step by step guide on PT.net is money though.

On my 06 vortecmax it has the stupid 4 inch strip on the doors. They are stuck on at factory. My question is, if I remove this cladding now will the paint underneath be to new and stand out from the rest of the truck? Six years old... Tempting to just remove it and find out.

I didnt read the whole post but I will go ahead with my 2 cents. I was never one to go out and look for ass and when I did see someone I wanted, I was way to nervous to go talk to them. I always let them come to me and truthfully its got me some good ass in the past and has lead to my wife which I DID chase after. You atleast have the ability to suck it up and go talk to the women. I will have to agree with miller and whoever else on here said that women are attention addicts. You have to try but dont try to hard. Maybe one of the issues with youself is trying to talk to long before sealing the deal. I have seen this before and it will cause people to lose interest. Go up and introduce youself, shoot a little small talk. Then ask for a number. If you get shot down at that point then its no go. With keeping the conversation short it gives them something to look forward to and doesnt give the woman enough time to feel you out. This goes back to not giving them too much attention. Only a small bit to show face so they know who you are then let her feelings stew a little.

That is pretty awesome. I used to have some blue strobes in my old eclipse turbo and had made a few cars move out the way so I can pass. Stupid kid and luckily I never got in trouble!

Was wanting to do my DRLs but after reading about it, I didnt really want to bead silicone around anything. Makes me feel like im rigging it. Unless I am missing something, is there a bulb that will pop in to where the DRLs go? I get flashed enough as it is having 55w lights everywhere. I can cruise around with just my fogs on and still get flashed by cars because the fogs dont have that back reflector. They are like a high beam.
