  1. Fuel pump is running and there is line pressure at the rails. I took it to a shop. Hopefully he can figure it out. I use it for work so I can't have downtime on it. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  2. I will try and pull the code tomorrow as my truck is at work. Anyway to be sure its fuel pump before I spend the 300+ for a new one? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  3. I'll check codes. I tried to earlier but was in a hurry Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  4. So on my way to work this morning and I get right around the corner from my job. Truck starts sputtering really bad and check engine light blinks like there is a misfire. After another 100 feet the truck died completely. Coasting into my workplace luckily. I try to start it back up and I have to give it throttle to start then it sputters out. I can smell a really strong gas smell also. Nothings leaking and everything looks tight. Truck has 120k on it and no problems other than trans that I had rebuilt. I was thinking fuel filter. Anyone care to take a swing? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  5. If it is a gmos-04 harness then it has a gain adjustment for the Bose amp. You need to set that per the instructions or you can have whine, distortion, low volume, ect... If you tossed the instructions you can get them on metras website. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  6. Did you set up the audio volume adjustment as the instructions stated? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  7. Again, check your grounds or cold drop a ground to the battery negative before going through the work of tucking it. Did you ever get that gmos-04 harness instead of the 01? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  8. He just installed a new deck. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  9. You should have someone install for you. LOL only kidding. Check your grounds. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2

  11. Just a bad bulb will do that. I had the same issue. Swap sides and see what happens. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  12. 35-40 is a shitty drop point for 4.10 gears. 30 mph hits first and 35-40 hits second but on the extremely low end. A higher than factory stall will help that a little. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  13. I did the same with my truck and there was a whole bunch of shitty paint underneath. It sucks. I'm just leaving them off and goog to paint when I get some of these small dings taken out. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  14. Saw this earlier but the wife was bitchin to mow the grass. I was thinking brakes either seized, need grease, or just the little tab that starts squeaking when its time to change. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  15. You can cut your factory wires but I would deff advise to not do that. Just buy another. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  16. Yep me too. Thanks guys for your opinions and advice. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  17. Yeh it was via paypal. So I'm definitely going to try and do a dispute. As of late I am realizing that eBay and PayPal offer buyer protection but nothing for a seller. Sellers just get ****ed... Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  18. I'm going to talk with eBay. I issued the buyer a refund some time ago already but the shipper and I have come to the conclusion after looking at the damaged to the unit vs the box that my buyer had buyers remorse and trashed it. He pointed put to me that it even has white paint on it. Sigh... Ill never sell on eBay again. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  19. Here's a couple pics of the avr removed from packaging. Aluminum case is scraped flat like it was dragged on the corner. Box had no breakthrough on that corner. The buttons are pushed in. The case is warped. Front door is loose and flops around. Just multiple scuffs and scratches. Not to mention it doesn't turn on anymore. I think it fell out of the packaging. 20. Because the authorized store was the shipper he is the one that has to appeal the claim and all. All I can do is set back and wait. Just not sure if I can tell the ups store guy that it was his fault and he's liable. Im sure there is a loophole somewhere that would save his ass. My question is do I tell the ups store guy that he packed it and ups denied the claim so its on him to make this right? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  21. So I sold a home theater receiver on eBay. Went to my local authorized ups shipper which is a family owned company and the guy is great. The store packaged it after I left and paid for the shipping. Well my buyer contacted me and said that it was destroyed in shipping and the packaging looked extremely weak. So we start a claim and the receiver gets shipped back to the authorized ups store. I go look at it and it looks as if it completely fell out of the box and got dragged then put back in the box. The buyer is correct by saying the packaging was weak. Ups denied my claim. Do I hold the packaging guy responsible? Can I even do that? I'm out 300$ because of it and shipping alone was 80$. Help me out guys. What would you do? Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  22. Here's mine at the moment! Finally got a replacement. First one I got was defective... Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  23. LOL I kinda was wondering why you were using that also in when you had it other thread with volume issues. Looks like yrs you can use it and it retains Bose and onstar just not steering wheel control. Not sure on that though. What I am sure about is the Gmos-04 does have the gain control for going to a factory amp and I think that could have been your issue in the first place. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  24. Then maybe its time to stop hating a great belt and get you a gatorback! Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
  25. Hmm. That one does not have the adjustment I was thinking of. It's only for onstar and chime volume adjustments on it. Defiantly has to have something to do with gain going to the amp from the head unit though. I just can't think of anything worth checking except going through the menus and make sure everything looks to par. Maybe toss that boss crap in the garbage and get something worth while.
