I have been doing a lot of research on 06 hoods, been looking for one myself... reflexion has a cowl, goodhood does a dual scoop ram air, and ramairhoods.com by suncoast has a new single scoop in the center. So far that is the only hoods that I have found for the 06, chevy screwed it up for us for the 06. I am looking around for a cowl hood that has a ram air scoop in the center, kinda like the ram srt 10 hood. Damn good looking hood. btw, I emailed goodmark and they dont plan to do a hood for the 06 silverado

anyone seen the hood from suncoast creations? Its got a single ram air scoop in the middle of the hood. ramairhoods.com I don't know how I like it yet. Looks funny in the pics but not sure how it would look on an sss.

did you add drag radials and launch from like 4000, or add a blower or something???? I dont understand how u dropped from a 15.2 to a 14.9 from adding just a fuel additive. Thats 3 tenths of a second. Was your launch the same?? Please help me understand, because if just the fuel additive did that...HOLY CRAP!!! I need like a truck load to get my ss up and moving. But please, if it does that well, let me know where I can get a bottle, I mean thats like rocket fuel then! Glad it worked man, hope it doesnt screw up your truck though.

hey does the top of the volant box cai open up? In the pictures that I can find, the top of the box looks like it has a blue screw on lid or something. Does the top come off?

as long as the work is good, that is a good quote if you ask me. I paid higher when I had my charger put on my mustang, but the work was superb. But when you get the charger put on, I dont think that gm will honor the warranty even if you have if done professionally will they?

man if your volant was that much of a pain to install, I might as well go with the K&N. You said it was kinda ghetto rigged...I'd be pissed and send it back. But as long as u like it. Just my 2cents though.
