  1. i do have it but its with my truck up in norcal.

however you can download hpt scanner from hpt and they have a demo to use that you can look at logs in.

"sorry, we don't have demo software at this time.

We are planning to implement it in future, probably 2nd half of 2010."

    "SRT10KLLR,

I realize that this doesn't help you a great deal, but the desire for a demo has us working on one. Unfortunately, it will take a little while. For now, we do have some video demos that you can look through to get the look and feel of the software, and if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them as best I can. Shoot me an email with your city and state. I might be able to find someone that can help out with a quick demo. If you want to talk through it, include a phone number in the email and I will call you."

I had someone send my the software but now i need some sort of code that they email to customers in order to view the logs I have. :nopity:

Comparing just our times it looks like you caught be by the 1000' mark. I need to do something about the top end. You need better traction maybe full slicks especially after the stall goes in.

Thanks for the great pics Brad

Damn look at my DR... They look like wrinkle walls LOL.. Had my DR at 15 PSI cold

Looks like I got a little wrinkle too. I had 17.5 PSI in the passenger tire and 16 PSI on the drivers side cold. I did not have a pump to even them out.

  3. Good run Art. I can still call you 2ft 60ft, lol. j/k  Looks like I picked up 2-3 MPH by just having the converter no lock in 3rd at WOT.

    Here is my run.

    R/T......... .172

    60'........ 1.867

    330'...... 5.469

    1/8....... 8.559

    MPH...... 79.04

    1000.... 11.264

    1/4...... 13.567

    MPH...... 97.60

Art, did you happen to get a video of my run?

  4. I just went outside and confirmed that my TCC locks up at WOT. Here is an EFI Live log of the run I just did with a nice smokey, going sideways burnout, lol. Too bad I did not take video. :D

Guess not. I will not let me attach this type of file.:(

  5. Yeah Jaime your converter is commanded to lock up in 3rd gear WOT based on your tune
Now I know why you were 2 tenths faster than me at the track, lol. I was also running on the low octane table because I switched to a speed density tune. :D
  6. I have been racing the truck for a while now with probably 100+ 1/4 mile races and did not realize my TCC was locking. :omg: Looking at my tune it looks like it locks at 78 MPH at WOT. I felt it lug a little at high speeds on the street.

Here is what my settings look like. Tell me if my TCC is locking or not?

    TCCLockUp.jpg

  7. Man, thats awesome you got a new PB. I was really hoping to get one too, but instead did way worse than previous times. Im gonna pull out my tuner and see if its making a difference. 14.7 @ 95 is bad. I spun and messed up my 60' time (2.4) and then it went all down hill from there. I was really hoping to break into the 13s.
Too bad you left early. I lined up with Gutz(Supercharged Tundra) and he smoked me hard. My first run was 13.7 and so was his so we figured it would be close. He busted out a 13.2 to my 13.8. :D
  8. Here Hemi Hemi Hemi oh snap I just lost, lol. What happened Art(mister >2.0 60ft)? Just busting your chops.

If he put his rear ad front seats back in it would be closer but I think he would still nudge you out. Those 60fts are killing you. Gets some slicks on that puppy.

  9. i dunno how you ran 12s in an L99... mustve been on DRs??

im not sure if everyone kept up on the camaro, but the auto and the manual have different motors. my guess is you ran into an L99 (automatic). the average time i seem to see these actually run is mid 13s. people have done lower, of course, but im just saying the average i see.

I have seen you over on Camaro5 so I know you have seen the top 20 list. Next time you go there check out the L99 vs LS3 thread. The Camaro a was racing has headers and a tune. Plus the day of the bracket racing the track was prepped really good so even with street tires it would hook. I did go to DR's though and could not get the car to spin the tires after the burnout.

The official fastest bone stock 1/4 mile list speaks for itself.

    1. Pave1 - 12.86 @ 107.70 mph, (L99, A6)

    2. speedy6963 - 12.87 @ 109.08, (LS3,M6)

    3. 8ty8 ls1 - 12.97 @ 107.61 mph, (L99, A6), (DA -433)

    4. NineBall - 13.07 @ 109.07 mph, (LS3, M6)

    5. Will69camaro - 13.09 @ 109.70 mph (LS3 M6), (DA +276)

    6. 8secpumpgas - 13.11 @ 106.38 mph, (L99, A6)

    7. Three-D - 13.25 @ 109.84 mph, (LS3, M6)

    8. Matt (tunetime) - 13.25 @ 106. 42 mph, (L99, A6)

    9. Foglin - 13.28 @ 106.8 mph, (LS3, M6)

    10. Scottywheels - 13.28 @ 106.43 mph, (L99, A6)

Here is the video of the 12.95 run and it was against another L99 that was bone stock with street tires and he ran 13.4:

  10. lol did you install it already , cup of joe not me dude i dont drink coffie but i do drink 32oz , brakfest of champs lol borrachos
No, I am going to sell the nitrous kit. Go over to LStech and bump my post up, lol. I saw you post up about wanting a purge kit. I have one so maybe we can work something out.

    Here is the post: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sa...itrous-kit.html

BTW, I don't drink coffee either. "Beer not just for breakfast any more".

  11. Thanks that is what I was thinking from like 0 to around 75 my truck pulls crazy hard but kinda dies top end still pulls but not nearly as hard.
You don't have to tell me as I am not yet boosted so you can imagine how bad my truck falls on its face when it hits 3rd, lol.

What were you trapping with that auto '10 Camaro?
My highest was 182.54 km/h which according to an online calculator it is 113.425 MPH.

from looking at pictures it was definatley the RS/SS camaro not sure if that makes a difference. What is the difference between the RS/SS, and the regular SS?
The RS has some cosmetic options like HID's (w/Halo), painted rain channels, trunk spoiler etc. but same engine.

Here are some pics of my brother's 2SS/RS:

    With the Nitto DR's:

    With the 22's:

And this is what most will be seeing after the stroked and blown 416 goes in, lol:

If you go to my vids section you can see some of my races.

  12. I ran a best of 12.95 in my brothers 2010 Camaro and it is an auto. I took home almost 2K with it bracket racing because it was so consistent. I put my dial-in at 13.00 and was running 13.02-13.05 then I lowered it to 12.97 and ran a 12.97 and a 12.99 on the last/money race. From a dig you would probably take him especially if you are AWD.

  13. Our trucks come with the Multech II connector. The USCAR(EV-6) connector comes on the Hemi's, the Cobra Mustang and some Corvettes(LS2/LS7). The Minitimer(EV-1) came in the older camaros and many other cars.

They make adpaters to go from EV-1 to EV-6 and vice versa but to go from Multech to either EV-6 or EV-1 you will need to buy some pigtails and solder them in place of the old connector. They sell the pigtails at Summit, Caspers etc.

There was a guy on PT that made a couple sets of Multech to EV-1 adapters but I don't know if he still has any left.

If you post a pic of what you have or want I may be able to help you better. It looks like you want to go from Multech to EV-1 but I can confirm once I see some pics.

  14. As stated above there are many factors that way in. Here is what I gathered from online: "Combustion chamber shape (wedge, hemi, semi-hemi,etc), Head material (Iron, Aluminum), finish of chambers (polished or not); cam duration, lobe separation...not to mention thickness and location of cooling passages cast into the head. Many factors combine to allow a reasonable tolerance to ping, detonation. Then there is weather, altitude and other environmental factors."

But here is a chart that will give you a pretty good idea of how much cr to run given a certain octane fuel.

    Octane_Requirement.gif

  15. Mine did that once right after a tuning session on the dyno and it turned out to be the throttle follower. I set it back to before the tune and everything went back to normal. It was a scary feeling though as I was coming to a red light and when I let off the truck kept going so I had to press hard on the brake pedal and it still wanted to go like when you power/foot brake(brake stall).
