keep the tint on. if you are having trouble seeing at night maybe try going a little lighter on the tint. I had tint on my truck and loved it but the cops didnt but i didnt care. my car now is like driving in a damn fishbowl but its going for tint this spring all around

thanks guys it is a nice car and it is taking a little getting used to but its not bad for a v6 as far as performance. it will be going to the window tint shop this spring/summer.

well new to me anyway. its a 2002 grand prix gt black/black leather, heated and power seats, sunroof, 3.8v6 73k miles 1 owner. its no fullsize truck or ss by anymeans but it is black and i do have a sunroof so it will have to do for awhile. i definatly miss my ss already alot and wish like hell i never let it go. but anyway here are a few pics and it is dirty but I cant wait to hit it with some adams this spring.

Damn it man, I did the exact same thing, Sold my 06 SS to pay off some bills/credit cards, less than a year ago, and even though I'm off to a good start building a reg cab version,,,It will never be My SS. once I finish getting all the cladding on I'll probably end up selling it and getting another SS.

It had just under 41k when I sold it and the reason was I was just making less at my job, gas mileage, credit cards. I was just digging myself into a hole and the truck was my biggest thing so she went away. On an upside though I did find a very nice Silver SS Camaro 2000 T-Tops, leather, 1 owner but my owner thing is its an automatic and I want a stick. Its in awesome shape with silver 10 spoke Ann. Wheels.

Well its a good yet bad start for new years as of this morning my truck belongs to someone else. He came up from MN this morning and bought it 16k and took care of everything and he loaded it up on a trailer and shes on her way to a new home. Im happy yet I am sad because I am going to miss the truck very much especially the power and the sound and just having a truck period. I don't think it has really hit me just yet. This sucks but I will have another one eventually. I will stick around the form to keep up with you guys and maybe find a regular truck and start a Clone

im sorry to say, but the SSS doesnt really bring the money on a car lot. we love them, and we would pay more for one... but the fact is, most people dont. stock, its more money than competitors, and much slower. btw, looking at dealer resources- that $5k bid isnt right, but black book and auction MMR which comes in around $12-14k (for that 05, assuming its AWD w/ 90k+ miles).
hell, mine is an 06 w/ 39k, worth about $20k. maybe a few thousand more if the particular dealer/buyer is into the modifications. but as a rule of thumb in the car business, they cant give any value for accessories, and in some cases some value is lessened with some adds.
Exactly. What you may find appealing others may think its disgusting. You also have to look at it from a dealerships view. How hard is it giong to be to sell this vehicle.

Camaro No doubt. Throw some 18 C6 Z06 wheels on it, tint windows, SLP LM2 Exhaust, oh and you gotta love T-Tops in the summer

hell when I went to a dealership years ago they though it had a v6 in it and offered me 7k for it I told them they are full of S**t and walked out.

just don't skimp out on the clutch. after the T56 swap, it seems that very few clutches can handle the weight of the truck, and if you are making enough power to keep on constantly hurting the 4l60, that will be your new weak point.

although i have a blue ss honestly I love both of them equally. If there was a blue ss and a silver ss sittin next to each other and I had to pick one it would be a very hard decision for me.

it looks like a theft recovery to me. the interior is all wrong, wrong rims, the ss on the headreasts dont look right, no center console. Also the drivers side handle is chrome while the pass is painted. I wouldnt buy it but thats me
