we have numerous charger sheriffs around here.
the Mass. State Police have alot of unmarked Intrepids and Chargers as well as Explorers and Expeditions. They just started getting the fully marked Chargers.

if you want a fish tank i got one that i will be parting with soone has filter and everything all you do is pay shipping or some and get the stupid thing it even has a nice stand that goes along with it its a 3 layer glas tank so it is heavy. If you want it its yours

nice sales pitch. you might have just talked him out of it. i thought about one awhile back. you would think, fish, how hard could that be? cleaning the tank is just more effort than i wanna deal with. that and keeping the fish alive.

Actually, I was wrong. They changed this a couple years ago.
They still have an agreement to always TRY and get a PAC-10 team in the BOWL but if there are higher ranked BCS teams then they will opt for them. CAL would have been one of the Rose Bowl teams but their ranking just isn't high enough.
They keep changing all this stuff around and it's making it real confusing. For instance, why on earth are they having two BCS bowls in Arizona now? What makes it worse is they're calling them both the Fiesta Bowl.
i've thought since they came out with the BCS that they should just have all their bowls but for the 4 top ranked teams, there should be a 2 game playoff. 1 plays 4, 2 plays 3, the winners play each other, the winner is the national champion. you do the first round xmas weekend and then the national championship a couple of days after new years like they do now.
although this year, that kinda goes out the window with Ohio St. being the only undefeated team, they are the consensus number 1. what sucks with the bowl format, is that most teams don't play for a month or more before the bowl games.

Anyone see the truck chase in Dallas? A woman driving a stolen F250. The front tires blew and when she pulled over she jumped out the passenger door and jumped the barrier. She tried to make it to, what appeared to be a river. The cops grabbed her before she hit the water.

considered getting an 85 a few weeks ago. only 1500. they suck in the snow though. my first car was a monte carlo. actually, that was my only car.

Yup you're being hazed; you know it, they know it. I agree with HRT in that you are at a higher likelyhood of being busted just because of the environment. I'm not saying at all that what is happening to you is right. I mean the neighborhood can't be all that great if the cops are regularly patrolling in pairs and you are a lot easier target than the real troublemakers. I know this is going to be a stretch to say but you've totally been stereotyped and now you are going to have to break that somehow.Mr. P.
Thats whats odd is it's just been very recent that the cops have been around the area because most of the houses in the area are over a million dollars and e live right at the base of the mountains so in general 90% of the people on the streets live in the area because it's not like people would be driving through our area to get somewhere, It would be way out of anyones way.
Well I have removed the tint today at lunch and I just finished installing the front plate. The reason I never installed it is because Chevy designed a bumper with holes in it but never made a bracket to correctly hold or fasten the plate without it looking halfassed. I ended up cutting two 1" diameter by 3/4" long spacers out of aluminum round stock and drilled a 1/4" hole in it and fastened it with two hex head stainless bolts which I polished and used stainless AN washers.
As far as the exhaust goes there is a 95db limit but it's not inforced this way because the police or the CHP aren't provided with the db meter to beable to read this. We have one at work for testing our exhaust systems and as I expected just a tad over 95bd it read 97 db. This test is done 20" from the tip at a 45* angle. We backed up the meter a bit and retested and it read 93db so we recorded this test on the db meter and I will have a print out very soon with a report stating that it's a legal exhaust system. I guess I will need to carry this info with me for the next time I get pulled over.
sucks that you gotta go to these lengths, but the visuals are the attention getters. once the heat wears off, i'd throw the tint back in. maybe not so dark.

so is it a alarm....or is it only used if someone steals ur vehicle?.....my luck the cops around my area would be like "we dont even know what lojack is"
there are a few different models. i know you can get just the recovery one and then you can add an alarm with it. most major cities and state police have cars equiped with lojack. if you ever notice a cruiser with 4 antennas in a square pattern, usually on the roof or the trunk lid, that is a lojack car. when you call lojack to report your car stolen, they trip the beacon in your car and it sends out a signal. the cops then can trace the signal. not sure how far the range is. it does work though.
onstar also has a feature like that but instead of radio frequencies, the onstar is a gps unit and they can find where the car/truck is and send the coordinates to the police.
i hear ya. i might have to do the same thing. would be a nice xmas gift...
from some stories on here ive heard onstar can be easily "disarmed"

Is a front license plate optional in california? Or required? I am assuming that it is required in order to solicit a citation.
A front plate is required in CA; It is especially enforced in areas with camera intersections, as they need pics of the front and back of the vehicle w/plates to nail you there.
same with Mass. unless you have the old white and green plates. they didn't issue a front plate. until i bought the SSS, i never used my front plate. i would keep it inbetween the console and passenger seat just incase.

Not sure, but we use FMLA (family medical leave act) at work to cover ourselves during an illness that is extended. Look into it and speak to someone who knows the law, sounds like discrimination due to an illness. Hope everything works out, and she gets better.

i was thinking the same thing. we use FMLA at my job too. you can't fire someone due to an illness. is it a local bank or a national bank?
aside from all that, hopefully all works out with your mom. other then knowing the name, I'm not all that familiar with Lupus. hopefully she gets better.

on my way home from work, i was approaching the tolls to get on the Mass Pike. as i was coming down the ramp, a guy in a Sierra 1500 ext. cab comes from the other direction and goes thru the toll booth i wanted, so i go to the one next to it. since he was a ahead of me hitting the tolls, i don't think too much of it. when he goes thru, he punches it and starts to cut across the lanes. i laugh, and follow suit. we started off on the right side and before he could get all the way to the left, i had already caught up to him and got on his left. once he saw what i had, he gave up. never left his lane.
