i'm having a problem with mine too. seems when i'm driving it's up around 40 and then if i hit traffic or slow down alot, it drops to zero and never comes back up till i drive it the next time.

I just dont understand people anymore. In my area the trouble is from teens that have nothing else to do. I too looked around at houses and stop signs, and trees, but didn't see anything else that was hit and the cops said I was the only one to call in about it. The chiped up paint is all on the plastic, so I dont have to worry about rust or touching up the paint. What gets my blood boiling is the fact that people out there just dont have a care in the world about others private property. Now evertime I look at that mark I have to rember what some ass did, just like the one in my drivers door from some ass parking next to me in a parking lot and hit the side of me with there door, and I was in the very last spot no where near anyone else. I of course know they did that on purpose because they were jealous of my ride, they had a rusted out car that had different color panels all around. $##%@$^@@!$^#$%@$%!!#&$&*$!@#$
i see you're from Pittsburgh. are you sure Ben Roethlisberger wasn't riding by and fell into it? i'm only kidding. that was a cheap shot.
it definitely sucks when you want your car or truck or bike for that matter to look good and someone else has to go and eff it all up. i try to park as far from everyone as i can and it still doesn't help half the time. no one gives a shit these days.

the link didn't work for me either. i haven't got around to changing my lights yet, but i did it in my '02 Tahoe. the DRL's, turn signals, taillights, reverse lights, and rear turn signals were all 3157's. i would think the silverado is the same. check the back of the manual if you got one. i'd get mine, but it's raining and the triptophan is kicking in.... lazzzzy....

the fuel filter was my first thought too. had a similar problem waaaaay back with my old custom deluxe. when i read about the battery, it reminded me of my work truck. had a similar problem to this as well. turned out to be a bad terminal on the battery. pulled right out. if you wiggled it around, it would stall and then catch.

its been pissin' rain here all day. on my way home, traffic sucked and you really couldn't see a thing with all the road spray and wind driven rain. anyway, i got stuck behind a Titan in the left lane on I-95 for a good 15 miles. he wouldn't move over and anytime i thought i had a hole to the right, there was another slow car there. like i said, it was raining. i didn't wanna race or anything. i was just sick of his road spray and the sight of his tailgate.
all i could think about was this thread.

I grew up an Irish fan. Unfortunately, even if they beat USC in LA, the loss... no the thrashing that they received from Michigan won't get them to the championship game. A loss by Florida in the SEC would help, but even if ND got there, I don't think the Defense is strong enough to hold up. No better test than USC this weekend.

That blows big time.
Here in wyoming you would be screwed. It doesn't matter why the accident occured ... it is always the back person's fault in a rear end collision. You would have got a ticket for failure to maintain a proper lookout or following too close. It pisses me off when people do that crap.
Tough break ... good luck and speed on the repairs.
same here in Mass. that sucks dude. hope the repairs aren't much more than your deductable. if you got one.

Thanks for the welcome. Just reading a few of the threads the last few days, I've picked up a few ideas on what I might wanna do to make it mine. I've had a few of my own, but learning what particular makes and product numbers exactly fit and look best is huge.

I bought a black '04 SS last week and I'm loving it. Just came from an '02 Tahoe LT and I can already tell life will never be the same. That was my 1st SUV and I liked it, but I had three Chevy trucks before and missed them. It was finally time to go back but I needed more. And more is what I got!! I wish I got one sooner!
Sucks that it's supposed to pour up here tomorrow cuz I was looking forward to really seeing what she has on the long highway ride to my sister's.
