That's why I signed on and challenged any titans in CO. my four door 4x4 vmax is definitely not built for sport like the ss but would still show a titan how good looking the tailgate is finally someone replied who wasn't a turd (as sobe probably thinks of me) and this issue will be resolved, filmed and posted for all to see soon. I haven't got banned yet which is amazing. I think it might have something to do with this thread. Yeah if you look i put a grill craft grill to close the big hole in the lower front grill area. Everyone hates the hole with the exposed fan and wires. The rest i like. It all how you present it. I like the SS but i cant stand the LS from factory but i have seen some ls after color matching the front look good.

This was my first one and if you look closely the handles are off a bit. they need to move forwad about 4-6" Believe itor not i threw this together in one weekend. I will spend more time on the hulk one.

yes i am from sofla i work in medley and i live near country walk. the graphics are about to come off. i am working on HULK graphics for the march meet. It's march and since i am not Irish i still wanted to go with something green for the show. So we're working a HULK scheme.

Thank GOD i haven't had to test my front end but the Insurance institute for highway safety gave it it BEST PICK for frontal test - http://www.iihs.org/news/2004/iihs_news_061304.pdf I haven't had any problems except for the front brakes and those were replaced. He switched to a d-max does he tow a lot of heavy loads? Maybe the HD d-max was a better fit for him. The majority of the rear end problems were on 04 4wd's - The dealers at first were instructed to switch out the inner bearing due to seal failure but recently i have heard of them just swapping out the whole rear end as the newer ones are better and the dealers seem to be having difficulty with the bearing and seal swaps. haha, i meant misterp. it says he lives in stephenville, and that's where Tarleton State is. SoBe: 5spd auto - that must be nice. Are those single-overdrive, or double-overdrive? Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Single overdrive i believe. It's always in the right gear for take off. I dont have to smash the pedal down to get the tranny to shift. Test drive one. The drive is what sold me.

it's the front end that kills me. 2006 silverados had the double thin headlights and the top ones had an angle to them almost a mean look like it had eyebrows like the no fear guy. now the 2007 have 2 boxes up front with no character or at least such a big change that it lost some of it's character. imo.

mopar check the forums. A LOT of silverado owners were pissed about going from the thin head light to the boxy ones the 2007 have. The GMC front end is better. Maybe ugly was not the right word to use but it has been used before me. also they sorta flared the fenders like the titan. no sure why but there are simlairities.

eww i hate red. an aztec? lol c'mon even on the chevy websites the majority of people do not like the new silverado. whatever to each his own.

i guess a kill is a kill but an acura? was it an NSX? that's almost as bad as a honda pilot or a camaro v6.

The 5 speed tranny really felt good. Have any of you guys driven a Titan?

tarelton? ?? not me. so far the trannys are pretty good remember they are a 5 speed.

bunch of mods? where? what were they? a bug shield? ahh ahh window visor? actually it was a new red SS. i was surprised myself probably more than he was. oh and the stock hemi's no prob. not sure why they like to chase me down. gues it's a hemi ARGH ARGH thing. intake and exhaust it pretty much ends there because as you've already heard there isn't much aftermarket for the Titan mainly because of the complex ECU's BUT uprev.com has been able to finally crack it and soon parts should follow. one of the uprev tuned Titans is already in the mid 13's. Now this opens the doors to turbo's and bigger S/C - they already have a Titan engine in a 350Z with Wolfe cams putting out close to 500hp - remember the truck only been out since 2004.

i have never in any post said that the SS sucked nor that it was in anyway inferior please dont marginalize my comments with other peoples comments. You on the other hand have which i do not appreciate. Sure the SS stock for stock is faster not sure who told you otherwise. i'm sure it wasn't me. you should go run and find him. please dont prejudge me based on the truck i drive.

who cares really - oh yeah you do. sorry bud i really do not care. you may lose on the TQ bet - nissan has one the most effecient trannys. I hear the AWD is not very effecient but i am not sure and there aren't many awd dynos to find out. but again i could care less. it still doesn't change the fact that beat an SS in cai and cat only.
