ok how may of you could tell this little one NO and mean it ?.....................LOL

well ive gone and done it again. just the other day i told my 6 year old grandaughter she couldnt have a cat. and that was the end of it. untill today at work about lunch time guess what showed up ? oh yea a kitten and me being the softy i am found it a place in our lab (inside in the A/C ) while i worked anouther 5 hours in the 100 plus degree where house. brought it home and gave it to her. it looks to be about 6-8 weeks old and playfull as heck she loves it i kinda did untill the trip to the pet store ( in wich the kitten also had to go ) after 75 dollars i finally got to go home. this just adds to the 4 doogs, 2 ferrits,and 2 fish tanks we already have. daughter has the cam right now ill try to get some pictures of them all friday evening when she brings it back.

well got to the garage today. and after getting the motor and tranny outta the race car so the new owner could pick it up. i started on the Gran Prix got the dog house off of it and all the extra wiring heater a/c box and computer junk. just have to make the panels to block off the fire wall holes. get my new manual brake mastercyl, and manual steering box on after a bit more cleaning to the frame and fire wall. after im done with that it will be time to slide the motor and trans from the race car in and start taking the interior out for a good clean and more weight loss in there. ill take some pics and post them tomarow after work after i do more cleaning.

just a toy but able to run the 1/8th here and possibly the 1/4 in indy at times

going to start with a big strip and weight loss program. do a really good clean and repaint on frame. then start installing the 355 and power glide trans and 9 inch ford rear end just for starters.

Well today i brought home my new toy. the racecar is leaving this weekend. so i had to fill its spot and the price of this car was right. and the frame and body are in great shape for its age. plus you dont see alot of them being turned into a nice fast ride as my plans are for it. its a 83 Pontiac Gran Prix factory bucket seats and console shifter. after some stripping and remaking over the winter months im planning on a nice street strip ride outta it. here are a few pics of how it looks now. i looked it over really good in the garage and cant find any rust through at all on it and the rear frame is solid as a rock. really amaising for these cars around this part..........

desertss thanks for the lead. but im kinda looking for something to build myself not really wanting anything already together. plus im not a real big fan of novas and my brother would be really mad if i got one and out ran his.

i really wanting to build a 68 or 70 chevelle like the ones i used to have. but looks like ill be more likely building a 78-up malibu or monte. have a couple of leads on them any way. just according on what comes up and what kind of price is on it when it does. all i want is something i can make go fast. oh and has to be GM.

Well after going to Indy for super chevy and walking throught the swap meet area and the cars. i have come to the decision to sell off all of my dirt track stuff. and get everything in line to start building a car for the strip. sure wish i would have keep my Chevelles. but i guess thats how it works so im on the hunt for a new toy to play with wish me luck Dale.

all i did was buy a whole truck to get mine wasnt that hard at all !!!!!!!! LOL

change of plans . my dad called today and we wont be going untill saturday. should be there when the gates open.gunna pick him up and leave Terre Haute around 7am probly stop in plainfield for breakfast.

yea i used spray. i havet got enough on it yet. had to get it back together to go back to work. gunna take em off saturday and put a few more coats on to smooth em out and make more gloss.

i like how they turned out. i had the lights on and it shines through nicely. and in the one pic you can see that the reflectors even still work. i may be making the 3rd brake light darker so all thats visible is the SS but not sure yet. im kinda kicking around the idea of doing my head lights next. would be alot better than buying thouse covers and would look alot better aslo im thinking.

Well after thinking and looking at everyones on here. i finally got the nerve to do mine. cleaned, sanded, coted with a can each of testors model window tint, then misted with gloss black and covered with a few coats of clear. they look really good and yes i also did the 3rd brake light. ill post pics as soon as i get the truck washed its really filthy right now and storming. so pics will probly be thursday ...........Dale
