Riverkid id love to have the box. but for some reason my wife just dosent see my way of thinking when it comes to my Earnhardt stuff. you should of heard the excuses i had to come up with to get to by the SSS. took me 2 days to trick her into going to the dealership to see it. then anouther 45 min to get her out of the old truck to go inside and look at it. but after i got her inside and in the SSS she understood why i wanted it and finally gave in. she still says that the 03 silverado i traded for it was a good truck. but knows ive always watched and followed Dale sr. from his start in nascar.so leaves it at that.oh and by the way thats just the stuff i have in the house dosent count the game room and stuff still in boxes in the garage. i really need to thin it out but just cant bring myself to do it.

Well after many,many,many, heated calls and faxes to u.p.s. i recieved my money on both of the items they destroyed. ive never had so many stupid things i had to do to get a refund on something that was so plainley done buy a shipping company. im sure glad its all finally done now i can take there number off of my speed dial. seeing how for 3 weeks it seams i was having to call or fax them something to get this all settled. well so much for them ill be using DHL or anouther shipper from now on. hope no one else on here has to go through what i have. i think they figured id give up after awhile, but me being really hard and hot headed i just keep calling and stating my point. there service sucked and i wasnt going to give up untill they made it good. i sure hope they recorded my calls like they say they do and one of there big wigs listens to it. well maby then again maby i dont?

Does anyone by chance have or know of anyone with a floor shifter for a chevy 2 speed powerglide. looking for a used one reasonable to cheep so i can get the drag car going. the one i have now wont pass tech. please give me a yell if ya have any ideas thanks alot Dale

if its an NHRA track it does have to be snell approved not sure what rating have to ask one of the guys with a new rule book think is snell 2000 but not sure

U.P.S. must really treat there employees bad because it shows in how they handle our packages. i sent a console and shifter to Orange park Fl. the guy got it and they had distroyed it so im in the middle of a claim on it. now tody i get the 2 racing seats i bought from a guy in Miami Fl. and the box is totally trashed. was supposed to be a new box due to the guy made me pay him 10.00 for it. and to top it off he didnt even use any kind of packing to help hold them in place during shipping. where the heck is this world going ? ya cant even trust a company this big to get stuff shipped without terring the heck outta it ? sorry guys had to vent about this.

i work for a small company named Atomized powder. ill have to see what the boss says about making new colors and coating them. hes the one who does it so it would be up to him if i can get others done or anything like that. ill do my best to try and talk him into it just have to see what all he has going on and if he wants to do it.

myself id go with a Holly 750 duel feed and vacc secondary. if need be re jet and run. thats all ive ever used on any of my street or race cars. never had any problems as long as it jetted right.

funy you should ask about color. but thats what we do where i work is make powder. so i can take that formula and make just about any color i want. that color is one we make for a customer and we just used it to see how and if it would work before reformulating a all new one. i kind of like the way the coveres look as they are on my truck. im just looking to do something diffrent and make them easer to take care of.

we used our oven at work using a low cure powder we make it cures at around 270-290 and is only in for about 10 min

ive heard they had a problem with a few from the factory. never done one but a buddy that works at the dealer here said it wasnt fun and also pricy. but then again i always think (well no really wish) my SSS parts should cost around the same as my older chevy stuff .

here are a couple of pictures of an engine cover we tested at work. trying powder coating on it. let me know what ya think. we just used a gray powder we had to see what it would do. i kinda like it i may coat mine this color to contrast between the balck of the truck and the gray of the interior. we use acetone to do rub tests on our powder. when we tride it on the cover it wouldnt even touch it. acted like we were rubbing it with water.
