I was doin some research on the Joe Gibbs conversion for the silverado...all i know is that they supercharge the engine and put in suede...With the body colored bumpers, they look alot like our trucks...Any one have anymore information on these? How many of you guys have dumped the exhaust on your SSS?

I was wondering how many of you guys have dumped the exhaust on your SSS.

Naw...it wasnt a clone cuz i could see the dash inside and it had the ss logo and headrests...if it was a clone this guy made a detailed clone down to the headrests...but the outside was ugly as sh!t

I was driving south through San Antonio on I-20. I saw an Arrival Blue SSS, it has flared fenders and all of the bumpers (front and back) were painted silver birch metallic. I dont mean to be un-patriotic but this thing had a 9-11 memorial on the rear window that wasnt looking so good on there...Overall, i think the thing was ugly as F**K...but thats just my personal opinion...

I was randomly wondering last night that if you got one of the new 2007 silverado's with a 4.8 or 5.3 to 100mph, and put it into cruise control, would it still use the cylinder cut-off? Where it shuts off 4 and runs on 4...

I checked those pictures from that meet and the black stripes on the red truck in the picture were much skinnier than the ones on the SSS i spotted...

That isnt an SSS! The badges, gauges, bumper, and rims can be purchased. If you look closly, the SS emblem on the tailgate of our real SSS's has a tiny silverado under it...this one does not. That is a god way to tell if it is a true SSS.
