OK Tru-Cool Max 40K without bypass ordered part # 4739-1 from bulkpart. Got a 20ft travel trailer this summer and first trip with it was out of state. Any way i go but west is mountains around here. Highest temp was 205 up a narrow two lane mountain road fore about 15 min. Must make sure this does'nt happen again if at all possible. No cooked trans for me please.

When the muffler shop put the flowmaster on i was not there. So he just cut off the stock muffler then ran me daul pipes back to factor exit behinde the passenger side wheel. But what i did not realize is the new muffler would sit right under the passenger seat of my crewcab. Next muffler will be pushed back under the bed of the truck.

The first of this year i put on a flowmaster super 40 Dual in/Dual out. The case is only 13'' long, have alot of interior noise & drone when on the gas. Just bought a travel trailer abought a month back, and when i have the truck in tow/haul mode its really load. Was thinking about getting a magnaflow Dual in/Dual out part number #12568 has a 22'' case. Do you think this will help me with noise problem. Had went on a 3.5 Hr trip to VA pulling the camper thought my ears would ring for days . Thanks for any input

Been waiting for it to hit the dealership. Might trade the wifes impala ss in on one.? Was reading somewhere how you can take the 505hp Z06 engine and drop it right in, every thing suppost to bolt right up.?

Sorry Yes i have towing mirrors (AKA) Mickey mouse mirrors. Thought everone know that.

Thats right knocked out my passinger side mirror top and bottom and was my own falt at that. Called the dealer want's $155 for just the mirrors. Don't know if i should replace, or go with some SS mirrors with color match insert, or try some after market mirrors. What do you guys think?

12'SROCK right everone tells you to get what they are using because thats all they know and that is what they have used from the begining. You should read alot of threads about this topic, there is more then enough information on here to help you decide. But in the end the choice will still be up to you on what you get for your truck. In this case you will go back and forth between a few models like you are now before you make up your mind and bite the bullet.

I also was looking at buying OBX headers did'nt know they where fake cats. So are the dynetech fake cats also?.

Ok getting some good idea's LTs know what i want Tune know also but TC ?. Would tbss do fine our should i go bigger like 3000 ?. And i would like some input if you think a X-pipe could help my setup?.

Have a dual in dual out flowmaster super 40. Does it not already act like a X- pipe ?.

4:10 rear end

From looking around on the forums i must have lost some torque do to CAI and Exhaust. I want to be able to get off the line with some dignity . Don't want to look like a brick on wheels .

Like the post says need more torque to get this big heavy 4x4 crewcab off the line any suggestions please. Without going FI thank you.

If i can get someone to cover for me that weekend? I'll be there. Mybe the only V-MAX looks like so far.

Ok exhaust put on today looks good will have pics tomorrow mybe some video. Sum what quiet at idle after its warmed up no real drone when driving 0-45mph but it lets you know its there if cruising around 50-55mph. Have not been on highway yet will see tomorrow. Oh yea really love the sound may try X-pipe later on.

Would like to exit before rear tire but state law says exhaust must exit behind rear axle.

Will run off dual stock pipes before muffler. Than exit twin pipes out behind rear passenger tire.

Got my new toys today will be putting it on friday.

Ok made my pick and went with flowmaster super 40 daul in/ dual out 2.5 inch. With two flowmaster oval tips 2.5 inch in / 4 inch out rolled. Will exit both out stock location just rear of back tire. The law here says must exit behind rear axle.
