  1. I must agree with the downward firing box. I had one with 2 10" subs that sounded awesome. But the truck got busted into and they stole the entire system. The insurance replaced everything but gave me an upward firing box...it sounds okay...but not like it used to sound. And the only thing that changed in the system setup was the box.
  2. Depending on when it goes down I might be up for it. I am back in Michigan now and living in Southfield for the summer. But I will be moving back to VA Beach shortly.
  3. Does the kit come with cooler? I am strongly considering ditching the Procharger for this set up. I t looks so much cleaner.
  4. If I am back stateside by then I will be there.
  5. 26 Coca-Cola Sales Rep in the Virginia Beach area. Navy Reserve Gunner's Mate currently mobilized again, this time to Kunar Province Afghanistan.
  6. I am heading to Iraq in about 3 weeks ...again. I will be back around March next year. When I return I plan on ditching my Procharger for a Radix. But I also want to swap in a bigger cam. I want to be able to drive it everyday if need be...but it won't be my daily driver. I have all kinds of plans for the SS when I get back. I am just looking for opinions and ideas for me to keep in mind. Thanks-Brian
  7. I called autometer over the summer...they told me to call Matco or Metco tools. I don't remeber which it was. Autometer gave me the number. So I called and as soon as I told them I was looking for a piece to connect the sending unit to the fuel rail at the shrader valve they knew exactly the piece. I don't have a part number. But it was like 10 bucks and looks/fits/works awesome. Looks better than the two posted above. Wish I still had that part number.
  8. Those are exactly the same numbers I ran with my mufflers and CAI.
  9. I was leaving the oceanfront headed to the highway and caught the red next to a black LS1 WS6. I am going to assume that he was mostly stock. He had SLP exhaust at least. He has his girl in the passenger seat. And she looks at him and says, "can you beat him?". He looks at the SS, and says "yup". I guess he didn't recognize the Procharger sound. I am just smiling and observing the entire time. I here him pop it in first and give it a bit of gas waiting for the light. Light turns green and I punch it. I love AWD. Killed him from the jump till about 105ish when I got out of it. He rolled up next to me and looked embarassed. Later we stopped again and he asked if I had a LS1 in the SS. I was missing my Trans Am until then...now I feel much better about selling it.
  10. I had mounted my front plate with a SLP Camaro plate bracket. Held it in place with to quick release pins. Looks good when mounted because it mounts to the bottom side of the bumper. Since I bought my truck out of state it had no front plate mounts. So I wanted to avoid drilling holes in the bumper. This was a fast and cheap fix. I can still take it off really quickly once I get to the track or out of state. However I would love one of those motorized! Too bad the intercooler would be in the way.
  11. When I install my in-line and Magnavolt do I still need to install the fuel pump relay included?
  12. I went out there today. The only Silverado SS out there was in the "For Sale" section. It was a black '03 with aftermarket polished 20"s a flowmaster exhaust and bed cover. $21k. If I had known that was going to be the only one there I would have spent some time cleaning mine up to show it. It was hot as hell today though. I got there at about 11am and had to split by 4ish. I lost about 5 lbs just walking and sweating.
  13. Any VA guys planning on going to the show this weekend?
  14. I am about to install a D1SC with 42# injectors and should be at 10 lbs of boost. Will a Magna-volt, and in-line fuel pump and stock in-tank pump be okay. Do I need anything else?
  15. Will you be including directions for install?
  16. I kept mine plates simple AWD SS on the Silverado, XJ JEEP on my Cherokee, and LT4 TA on the trans am. We have to have plates on the front in Virginia, but I got my SS in North Carolina so there is no where to mount it up front. And I am not about to drill any holes in the bumper. So I guess they will have to stop me before I put it on. Plus I can't stand front plates. I never put one on my Trans am either.
  17. Hey guys sorry to bug ya. Does anyone know where I can order a "silveradoss.com" decal? I don't know if maybe I am just slow and can't find them or if they aren't around anymore. Thanks in advance. -LB
  18. When is is going to be held? I will make sure to be there. My Family lives in Battle Creek. I'll make it a long vacation.
  19. I am not sure what my plans are yet. More than likely lower it a bit. Some exhaust, some minor mods. I would love to meet up with some other HR guys. Just let me know where you all meet up.
  20. Just got rid of my modded Trans Am for an '03 Black SS with 18k on the odometer. I always wanted one and got good deal on this thing. I couldn't pass it up. I love it!
