So I was with 3 of my friends around 2am the other night ( we went to Wendy's for a midnight snack ) We were passing by NASA which is right down the road from me. and I see a NICE red car infront of me...so I catch up to him to see what it is...Its a Bentley Continental GT. he was doing 5mphj under the speed limit so I look over in the passenger seat and there is a hot blonde. so I kinda gun it and let off and he does nothing. so I pull up at a redlight next to him. I figure he wont do anything but the light turns green and he punches it and so I do like 2 sec after him. It wouldent matter if he gave me a 10 car length jump he was gonna kick my ass anyways. so needless to say he totally destroyed me. he had me by about 10 car lengths lol bu it was fun anyways

So I just ordered 2 SLP Loudmouth bullet mufflers. I got a shop thats going to weld them in and dump them for cheap. So I was wondering should I keep both of them in the stock position or have one on the driver's side and the other on the passenger side? would that make any sound diffrence? Thanks for the help!

So i left my g/f's house and decided to go for a short 10-15min cruise to see what was going on. so I head down this one street and get to a redlight and I see what I think is a Ford HD ( same body style ) so I made a u-turn and caught up to him but I found out it was just a reg ass F-150 with every chrome piece made for that kind of truck...anyways on to the Cobalt SS...I leave the wana be HD and see a silver SS cruising down the road so I catch up and kinda gun it and let off...gun it and let off...Nothing so I get down the road where there is some light and I look over and its a teenage girl She probably thinks the SS stands for "Super Sweet" Anyways i went home w/ a headach and i wasted gas for nothing Oh well were going to the movies tomorrow night and there is always plenty of high school ricers to fry lol

lol Vegas wouldent be too bad for the kids. Lots of stuff for them to do. I only know becuase i cant gamble yet Anyways most of the bigger hotels have some cool arcades / IMAX and stuff. There is also a big M&M factory thing on the strip with a ton of crap for kids to do. The last time i was there I was 16 and I had a pretty good time. But mostly I was standing in the casinos next to my parents while they hit the slots. If you do decide to go though, do not go out after dark...Thats when all the creepy/drunks come out lol.

Ok so I just left my g/f's house headed home and I started the truck and my windshield wipers came on kinda fast and wouldent stop! no matter what i do they wont turn off. I've tried putting them on full speed, turning the truck on and off with the wipers both on and off but nothing works? Any ideas? I'm gonna look like an idiot driving around with my windshield wipers on!

Yeah I was thinking about dumping it. I heard that was really loud. Thanks for the help, do you guys think it would be no prob for a shop to weld those mufflers in on the 2.5 pipes? and on a side note if I take my truck to a chevy dealer will they fix the steering clunk? ( I'm still under my 3/36k ) I ask only b/c I have time to do it tomorrow and want to get it taken care of. Thanks!

Ok so I have been looking at exaust set ups and I think I found one I like ( LT's w/ high flow cats and some weld in SLP mufflers ) However, money is an issue But I was looking around and I found some SLP Loudmouth 1 bullet mufflers for like $90 each and was thinking i would just buy two of those and have a shop weld them in. I was just wondering would I see any performance gain from doing this ( I know not to expect much if any ) and what size piping is the stock exaust? 2.5? 3.0? Mods...Mods...uhh Silverstar headlights lol nah i'm stock. I just bought the SS about 2 weeks ago. I gotta save up right now to pay for it then the mods will come!

So I went to a pool hall lastnight w/ some friends who have mustang GTs. We were headed to IHOP to get some eats when another Silver GT w/ a loud exuast starts to hang w/ us. I pull up next to him going 45mph and ask if he wants to go from 30mph punch ( ) and he says sure so we hit it at 30 and I get a good half a car jump but in the end he pulls me. so we pull up at a double left turn and we are both turning and we were just shooting the shit there we both said nice run / nice cars. So I get a few miles down the road and and no less than 5min after the GT race an SVT Lightning pulls up next to me and kinda guns it. ( Supercharger wine / loud exaust ) so I signal him to slow down to 30mph but as soon as I do a spot a cop hidden on the side of the road and quickly speed up to the limit...But he pulls out and gets behnd the lightning. I wipe my brow and try and calm by heart rate lol. but he just follows the lightning but dosent pull him over. It was a pretty fun night over all! Just wish i could have run that SVT.

hehe yeah it was an online dealer. But I didnt have it shippd or anything. I live like 30min from their main lot so it was good for me! and it really did shine until I had to drive it in dirty Houston rain but oh well. I love the truck so far. no complaints at all. the take off is amazing and it still has plenty of go after the take off. I also love how everyone pulls up next to me at a light and kinda glances over like it's a regular truck and then does a double take like "wow..." lol. And if anyone was wondering, it's completely stock. On a side note I felt like an idiot b/c after i got the SS home I did a look over one last time and the spare tire is missing! I dont know how I missed that when it was on the lot. oh well I guess thats a weight reduction

Ok so I know I dont have my SS yet. But the two times I test drove it the acceleration felt like I wasnt in controle. like I pressed the gas and the computer processed it and then activated a machine to rev it up. Is there anything I can do once I get it to make it feel like my foot is making it go, not a computer?! thanks!!!

For sure. It's going to feel like forever before I get it tho...oh well it will that much sweeter when i finally do get it!

So I have been drooling over the tought of getting my SS today. So I went to my classes got out, called my dad to make sure everything was good to go...It wasnt. He sold my current truck to Carmax for 8k then after they cut him a check they said it would take 3-10 business days to clear! what kind of time period is that?! either just a few days or damn near 2 weeks. so now I'm w/o a SS or anything for that matter. So now I get to bum rides from my girlfriend or drive my dad's truck...Ugh anyways hopefully I'll have my SS by Tuesday. Thanks for reading. I just needed to tell someone! lol <---not me

Hmm...I was sure when I got into reading this someone would have said they wanted to be buried in the driver's seat of their SS lol oh well...

So I got the 04 red SS. the price was really good too. the base price was 23,680 before TTL and all of that good stuff. And it only has 30k miles. Going to go pick it up this Thursday. Wish I could get it sooner but work and school has me tied down. But thats kinda good because my buddy just came back from Marine Boot camp so he wants to come get it with me. Anyways I'll post some pics whenever I get it. Later guys!

As for seafoam it can pretty much be put anywhere to do something diffrent. A buddy and used it through the vaccume line to clear any carbon build up in the engine out. we just poured about half a can into a cup and sucked it up through the vaccume line and then let it die. Let it sit for 30min or so then turned it back on. the exaust blew white smoke ( all of the build up ) out for about 5-7min. But that was on his camaro. seemed like it worked fine, helped the engine out and everything but who knows for sure.... oh well thats my exp. with seafoam.

Hey guys I've been reading a lot about the SS Silverados on this site and some others and have finally found a good SS to buy. It's a 04 red w/ 30k miles. the interior is perfect and so is pretty much everything else. Hopefully if everything goes right I'll have it by Saturday! ....Anyways I just wanted to say hello and look foward to talking about my SS soon!
