I didn't forget the price. I said I would discuss details with any interested. Most people will probably just view post this to gauge what they might be able to get for theirs when it comes time to sell, and there's nothing wrong with that. Having said that, I'd like to get around 16,000 for it, if you're interested in owning another SSS.

Hey everyone. I'm looking to unload my SSS after 7 or so years of enjoyment. The truck is black. I'm the second owner. Clean history. The mileage is roughly 68,000. Tires and brakes are almost brand new. Battery (Interstate) is brand new. Everything is factory pretty much. If anyone is interested, I'll throw some pics together and get into more details. Many thanks to all for your support. It is appreciated. As far as leaving my truck at home is concerned, I graduated two years ago but I still live and work in the area. This is my home and my SS is my only ride so I guess I'm stuck with immature college idiots for the time being.

I've had a ridiculous amount of trouble with my ss. I had the gauge cluster issue some time ago. I got it replaced. I think it's crapping out again. Then I got the rear passenger window issue. I haven't even tried fixing that. More recently I acquired the "clunk". Then my windshield cracked just driving down the road, not following anyone or going under anything mind you. And yesterday I had the joy of walking out to my truck and realizing some jack@$$ thought it would be a good idea to attempt to pry my SS badges off of my passenger side. Anyways... it looks like they tried it with some mildly sharp blunt object (oxymoron??)because all they accomplished was BREAKING MY BADGES and SCRATCHING the HELL out of my PAINT!! Sweet! Good times!!! This crap happened in Iowa of all places. Nobody touched my truck when I lived in Tacoma. I'm sure my badges would have looked great on their (hypothetical) teal '93 S-10 if only they could have gotten them off. Sorry. I just had to vent to some that may be somewhat sympathetic to my truck and my sanity. Good day to all.

i paid 24,000 for my '03 in july of '06. it had 22k miles on it. 30 g's is way too much. there were another two at the dealership with similar mileage. one was a '03 the other an '04. they were all around the same price, just different colors, and those prices were far less than 30 grand. and this was a year and half ago. i just picked mine out of the 3 cuz it was black and slightly cheaper than the '04. if it helps with your pricing problems, i bought it at one of the largest chevy dealers in the midwest, karl chevrolet, so their prices are probably close to what they SHOULD go for, if not a little higher.

hey, i'm from iowa. my 03 handles well enough in the snow as long you don't drive like an idiot. mpg averages about 14.5.

had mine replaced last week, luckily under extended warranty. seems like it might have something to do with the cold weather. who knows...

I live in Ames, Iowa. I have to drive in the snow. Its a pain trying to keep the thing clean lately. And I'll vouch for cojam when he says people in Seattle can't drive. I lived there up until about a month and a half ago and it was ridiculous. I-5 would have drove me to the nuthouse if I would have stayed. Cojam- are you from tacoma or seattle because i saw a silver birch SS in tacoma one day w/ a bunch of tree branches in the back about 4 months ago driving down tyler/stevens. Probably wasn't you as i'm sure there is more than one in the area but it would be crazy if it was.

my rear passenger window is sick. i can't believe my back seat isn't covered in water everytime i wash it. it is one of the only problems i have with my SS. Do reg Silverados have the same issue?

i get about 14.7 average with a mix of city and highway.

hell, i didn't even realize that i had an extended warranty (yr2010 or 68,000 mile) until i brought my truck into the dealership last friday when my gauge cluster flipped out. i don't remember agreeing to pay for it but who knows. i bought it as a used '03 with about 22,000 miles. with all the other crap that i've read about on here that is going on w/ everyone elses trucks it might be worth it.

I live in Ames, Iowa. I just got my gauge cluster replaced today at Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny under extended warranty. Speedo became erratic went it started getting extra cold out. Would say I was going 60-100 mph while truck was in park. Was a pain but it's fixed.

mine is a daily driver. i drive it to work so i had to get some rubber floormats (husky brand) because i get pretty muddy.
