  1. I found the recipt and it did'nt have the part number on it and it was 5 years ago(2008). They may not even make that model catch can that I have any more. I would sugest you call Tracy Lewis at Revxtreme 941-721-1826. I hope this information helps you.
  2. I was just at REVXTREME today after work, looking at there new style catch cans there really nice looking. I have one of there older style catch cans on my SSS for approx. 5 yrs. there a quality made part. I was talking with Tracy Lewis for about an hour, He's very knowlegble and a nice and easy person to talk to. I'm thinking of getting a Magna Charger 2300 TVS with there Chiller Intercooler(REVXTREME) it hooks up to your AC unit. Has any one heard of this?
  3. Zippy, I'm also thinking of doing a similar build with TFS 225 Heads, were you talking about 65cc combustion chamber with a stock thickness head gasket or .041 thick gasket (what compression were you suggesting?) and when you stated mild cam are you suggesting TFS 220/224 Cam or there 216/220 Cam or a total different cam company and if so what small size were you suggesting?
  4. If you get a performance tune the tuner is going to turn the line pressure up so that some of the torque management can be taken out. Later if you plan to do a shift kit & servos you will need to have the line pressure put back to stock settings, then you can have most or all TM taken out(I have 70% taken out with my shift kit.) I would suggest you read Mr. P's writeup its very informative on this subject. I just had mine shift kit put in and I wish that I would have done it earlier. My suggestion to you is first shift kit, then long tube headers and then your tune to pull it all together. Your truck will be so much quicker. Just getting rid of the stock lethargic shifts with 100% TM, will be a night and day difference. You will love it I now I do. Then long tube headers = more HP. Or you can do them one at a time and re-tune every time. Most mail order tuners do free re- tunes, you still need to pay shipping both ways. If your going that rout a spare PCM would be a good investment. You will also have to do a crank relearn (approx. 30 min.) every time you use the pcm that didn't come with your truck from the factory.(easy to do but time consuming, or have the spare re-flashed at dealership for your trucks vin #)
  5. If you already have a performance tune you will need to have the line pressure put back to stock settings. I have the corvette 2nd Servo and Superior Billet 4th servo with Billet accumulators in my trans.with a Black Bear Performance tune with 70% torque management taken out. First re-tune after trans. upgrades and it shifted so hard that it would yank the steering wheel out of my hand if I wasn't holding on to it hard enough. I contacted Jason and he re-tuned the pcm with less line pressure at lower rpm shifts. So now in parking lots when it wants up shift at low rpm it doesn't bang into 2nd so hard and when you wind it out it shifts hard like its suppose to. I love how it shifts now.
  6. I have the 18 inch long Magnaflow with built in X pipe in the muffler on my SSS with Bellanger Headers and stock Cats. It sounded great at idle but had a bad drone at 2500 rpm,and was to loud for my liking. So I had two inline Magnaflow Resinators welded in just after drivers side and passenger side pipes run side by side. Now I love the way my exhaust sounds. A real nice deep tone to it around town and It still screams at WOT.
  7. I think that He is talking about the 5.3 or the 4.8 Intakes because there both cathedral shaped intake ports. The newer 6.0 and 6.2 motors have the D-shaped intake port heads. I'm also interested in a 2007,5.3 intake if its not damaged and the price is right. Thanks kevinh
  8. What is the torque specs on the two rear caliper bolts or two bolts that hold the rear caliper to the axle? They are 14 millimeter by 2.0 thread pitch by 37 milimeter long.
  9. What is the differance between the Hpm wireing harness and the Nelson Wireing Harness? Kevinh
  10. i"m willing and to be volunteer number # 2 or #3 so pick me. Kevinh
  11. I just put on a set of Harland Sharp Aluminum Roller Rockers 1.7 ratio with dowel pin between two rockers, this last week end and I love the performance gains that I got from idle to wide open throttle. The hard part is that they are not just bolt in and go. I had to modify the valve covers by grinding a 45 deg. angle on the high spots of the pertruding lugs (from the reverse sided threaded lugs, on both covers) and pening down the windage shield front locator on the drivers side valve cover. These were interfering with the valves from closing all the way. I had the valve covers off 3 times before I had all the interfering lugs ground down enough. I wish that I would of known this before I started this mod., there were no instructions or warnings with parts. The rockers look like they were going to hit the side of the heads but there just enough of a cut away in heads for clearence. What a differance that they make, it pickes up rpm's faster and a noticable horsepower gain, aprox. 10 to 12 hp. I'm glad that i did this mod.
  12. As of today the current 112 Radix system for the 1999-2008 trucks with the MP112 are going to cost $5150.00.....Yes thats right, $5150.00, just call us CRAZY What is the price of the Radix mp122 for a 2004 sss. very interested, KHAAS
  13. That is a good price. I purchased mine 2 months ago fo $235. and it was an opened box, probably sent back because of old style lid. (carbon fiber not the new style aluminum lid.) I use to use stock box with K&N drop in filter. The Volant looks alot beter, it runs alot better. If you purchase it, you might want to do as I did and go to a hardware store and buy a 3 inch 90 degree ruber elbo, to place on the bottom opening to breath cool air from behind front bumper (in place of optional ram air scoop.)
  14. The breaking is even with just the Willwood fronts and stock rears. I was worried about that also before I purchased the front only kit. I talked with Willwood Tech and he told me that I would not have any problems because of the ABS on the truck. I paid 2800.00 for the kit with every option and stainless brake lines and shipping from Thrdyne when they were still in business.
  15. the Wilwood Front had 16 inch 6 piston and found very few guys on the forum run this setup and the majority prefer the baer 6s extreme kit. I'm leaning towards the wilwood kit and I was wondering if you guys had any info on whether this would be a good choice. I have the Willwood 16 inch 6 piston Big Brake Kit drilled and slotted rotors on the front only on the stock 20 inch sss Wheels. I've had them on my 2004 SSS for 6 months now and i love them. Breaking is Fantastic they just started to get a faint brake squeel every now and then, I just hit the brakes lightly and it goes away. I've also notest that the hotter they get the better they work. The only thing better than the way they stop this big heavy truck is the way they look. I get alot of comments on how great they look, they really fill up the 20 inch wheels. After I get My 122HH, I plan on getting the new 16 inch rear big brake kit also. If your going to get the Willwood Big Brake Kit, get the red power coat calipers with the laser engraving logo it looks a lot better than the milled engraving.
  16. I would like to offer $30 for the gold/blue bowtie. How much is the shipping to 34205.
  17. Is this still for sale? If so, do you take paypal? Thanks.
