:chevy: OK Here is a question for you guys...Mervz, you can probably check this out. On the Cheers and Gears website they are saying that due to public complaints about the lack of power the SS has at 345 hp, GM is looking at getting more power out of the 6 liter and trying to get it up to the 375 the Lightning has.

 

Have you heard this discussion Mervz........... :confused::confused:

Lightning has 380 horse..........

 

and the thing is, even if they bring the SS up to that level (which they can), its still going to be sitting in an extended cab. It'll be fast to be sure but still in the 14's (most likely).

 

In reality until they get goin on a Regular cab version, competing with the lightning is trivial, they wont be able to do it (with the ext. cab). :sick:

I thought the 99 concept was a 6.6 litre based on the 6.0 platform.

 

I do remember it was a N/A engine.

That was originally called the SS. Now it is called the SST. LOL Too many damn "concepts" been laid out over the past few years, nobody can remember whats waht. lol It is the one with the cab integrated into the bed (one piece design) Was red, now it's orange metallic

Anyone ever see the coolside and coolside II concepts??

 

Those IMO were the best Chevy Super Truck concetpts to date.
