ChevySSandChevy8.1
Ouch, thats rough, a rim repair shop would probably be your best bet, they can make them look like new again.

superman
did it just scratch the paint off or did it dig into the metal? if just the paint and if its not scratched to bad you could match some silver paint and spray it into the top of the can(or something like) and apply it with a small brush or cue tip. XGMTech
I have fixed small scratches on clearcoated aluminum rims before (not on an SS but a Corvette). What I did was this: 1. Sand the scratch out with sandpaper, first starting with a rough grit and finish with a fine grit. 2. Then, I masked off the tire and sprayed the area I sanded with a can of auto body clearcoat. Now they even make clearcoat spray for wheels, it's made by Dupli-Color. 3. When I was done you could not tell the difference, it came out perfect. If you are willing to try this yourself, this would probably be the way to do it, but I'm not saying it's going to work as well on our SS wheels as it did when I did it before on another wheel. But if a scratch like that happened to me, I'd give it a shot... good luck!

Wizard
Call your dealer, I am sure they have a mobil wheel repair guy. Almost all dealers do. Shouldn't cost much and it will look damn good. Wizard
