6.0ss Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Well I am with in 2 weeks of having a Radix in my truck!! (I hope) What injectors come with the kit? If I run a 2.9 inch pully, What kind of boost can be had and should the injectors be upgraded? I plan on doing a tune from Nelson or PCM in the very near future, is this necessary if using the 2.9 pully? Lastly, Any supporting mods that are strongly suggested when using a radix? I did use the search bar, and found lots of close answers but nothing exactly answering these questions. Thanks guys!!!!!!
Farmtruc Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Congrats on the Charger you'll love it! The kit comes with 42lb injectors and in inline pump or intank pump. With a 2.9", I don't think you'll see more than 9psi, depending on your gauge. Some gauges aren't calibrated correctly. The tune, only if you're getting detonation. You can usually squeeze a little bit of timing from the original tune. Mods: I wouldn't install a Radix without a shift kit, they work just fine, but after experiencing a shift kit with a Radix... Maybe some longtubes as well. good luck, allen
vette dude Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 allen <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WHOA... the dead live.. Long tubes, a good exhaust, and a stall would be som great mods, along with the shift kit pulley, and tune...
BenKey Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Don't forget to ditch the stock tranny cooler for a B&M supercooler. A radix will heat up the tranny pretty good and you'll need the larger cooler to help it out. Long time, Allen.
6.0ss Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 Thanks guys, I don't think I will be doing any mods here for a while, (no cash after buying radix) But It will be down the road. That is awesome that it comes with 42lb injectors!!!
