geomcrider Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 I have put the SS away for the winter and bought a $400 crasher...1990 Taurus We had snow and ice here last night in Ct and my wifes 04 Sequoia slid down my driveway ( 10 degree slope) about 25 feet and hit my crasher. Actually pushed my crasher 1/2 way into the street ! A few heavy gouges on the Sequoia's rear bumper but my crasher has a busted taillight, dented trunk and a 8 inch cracked piece missing out of the bumper. All I can say is the SS was nice and warm in the garage when this all happened..
geomcrider Posted January 13, 2005 Author Report Posted January 13, 2005 Sure.....$702.63 to fix the Sequoia. I could of put that towards some mods.
CoolBlueSS Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Sure.....$702.63 to fix the Sequoia. I could of put that towards some mods. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could have been that, plus another $700 to fix the SS.
Stitches040 Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 I know what you mean..... During the same storm, I had to go to Vermont..... Holy crap, The SS tires are so wide, they love to hydroplane even on snow and Slush...... I will take my Ghetto Whip from now on...... '98 Ford Crown Vic....... It definetley made for an intersting ride that day..... Love my SS too much to put it into another situation like that again......
Aspentaylor Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Wish I could store mine for the winter although it is fun to play with in the snow! My SS might be gone shortly so I will keep playing!
