BenKey
Wayne, given any thought to where you'll move the reservior for the intercooler to?
Nightshift
On the Gibbs truck it's mounted on the fuse block. Looks to have a steel plate/bracket behind it. I'm going to get with Magnacharger or Gibbs and see if I can get my hands on one. I got the brackets to relocate the heat exchanger from them. Might be standard for '05 kits. Or maybe someone can make one. I still have a parts to gather. I talked to Allen at Nelson Performance. I'm going to pick up another PCM and take the truck to him for a live tune. San Antonio is a couple hours. In the meantime I'll get an update from Westers for the fans/longtubes. It'll be interesting to compare the two. Big project coming up... multitasking... BenKey
Takes a little work, but there is space between the battery and the radiator. It will actually be side-to-side with the radiator. If you remember old pics of Jeff's truck with his Radix, that is how Speed inc did his. I did mine that and like it. It fit so tight, I didn't even have to use a way to secure it. Just a suggestion. Nightshift
That was on a Gibbs Tahoe. A reference to the location of the intercooler reservior. WW
FuelSlut
I just installed (last thursday) my radix unit on my truck... it came with that fuse block mount for the pump/tank asm. I have an 04 truck.... if you need the install pics, or the instruction pics etc. lemmie know, hope this helps.... - BTW gibbs sells those engine covers on his website... but for an insane amt. of $$$
Nightshift
Thanks, the fuse block looks like the best place to put it. I also have the brackets to move the heat exchanger and pump to the lower bumper (aka: Joe gibbs). I should be able to get a reservoir from Magnacharger if I need one. I'm giving myself a day to change the headers and some of this other other stuff. I'll have 3 off. I won't get the e-fans in, I'm waiting for Lyndon (Westers), he's going to start building them. Unless he takes too long. I bought another PCM, I'll be set for a live tune... When the money falls out the sky... WW
