I have (2) powerbass dual 4 ohm 12 inch subs under my back seat. I built the box so that they are downfiring out of a sealed, divided box. I got about .85 cu. ft. per sub. I am running a 1000 watt hifonics amp to them and they sound very nice, hitting a broad range of frequencies. This setup has an excellent pound/price ratio.

I have two MA Audio Amps, a 1600 watt mono and a 800 watt 4 channel in another truck and they sound really good. The mono amp is very clear and powerful, while the 4 channel amp has nice power but lacks in the clarity department.
