adams2003
Tried putting some 17's on my truck today from my dads denali and they wouldn't fit in the front. They fit over the capipers fine, but the bolt from the spindle is rubbing against the inside of the rim. I was thinking of just grinding off a little bit of the bolt because there's about 3/4" sticking out. I should be fine doing that right?

ChevySSandChevy8.1
Should be fine, as long as the bolt isn't being damaged, but just trimmed. Its always good to check with the company first. by the way how much lighter would the denali rim be compared to the 20s on our truck?

2bseen
17s will not work, I tried to do it for a alingment and has a set of 17" denali wheels and even if you grind all the way to the nut it still hits big time. You must use 18s with spindles.

PewterC3
guess that sort of makes the spare useless
AUTOGUY
guess that sort of makes the spare useless <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only on the front. If someone with spindles gets a flat on the front, the spare can be put on the rear and move the good rear to the front.
