Dr Mike
OK questions no one has asked before.. I'm having the Keystone Restyling GoodHood installed and it has fully functional Ram Air scoops. Question 1: I live in Canada so snow is dealt with 5 months of the year, can this be a problem??? Question 2: Which is best, K&N 77 series, Airaid system?? Volant System does not seem to be made for Ram Air applications?? vtodd82
i have the keystone good hood and the k and n 77 series, and i am very pleased. dont worry about snow/water getting into your air filter via the ram air hood. like it was mentioned already, there are ducts that carry liquids safetly out. Dr Mike
Thanks all...Great news... I'm trying(without much luck I might add) to win either a Airaid or K&N 77 series on eBay. Now that I have seen Volant has scoop specifically for Keystone Ram Air Hood, will add that one to my bid list although seem to be better deals on the Airaid and K&N. Should get truck back from body shop this week and looking forward to seing it with new hood/ Dr Mike
AUTOGUY
seem to be better deals on the Airaid and K&N. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's because there is not as much included with the K&N or Airaid. They are both open style Filters with an intake tube. The Voalant is a sealed box style kit. I would pay the extra and go woth the Volant because of the Availability of the ram air scoop and Hood adapter.
