AUTOGUY
Japan tires on a US truck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am struggling with the same thing right now. I need to buy 22's and the Toyo Proxes S/T's are on the list as well as the BFG G-Force. I'm waiting on a price for the BFG's. I can get 305/40/22 Proxes S/T's for $225.00 each mounted and balanced. I have a feeling the BFG's are going to be close to $300.00 per tire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just got a price of $277.00 each for 295/45/22 BFG G-Force T/a's I also heard they have a very short life, like under 10k miles? Anyone here have the G-Force?

The tread width of the Kumhos is 1" larger than the tread width of the comparable BFG size tire shown above (i.e. 12" for 305 Kumhos vs. 11" for 305 BFGs). The Kumhos are $141 each from the Tire Rack right now. And the Kumhos are plenty sticky....found that out last week when we got 10" of rain. Just some more info for decision-making. One of the big decision breaking points for me: Thread and $$$$ I went with the kuhmo's. for $626.00 delivered to my door I couldn't complain. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

jboyd2004
I have a wholesale account with a tire shop. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's sweet. 250 was the best I could get...everybody has to make a living. I'll give them 10%. Fast shippers and all. Much better than the $309 everyone else quoted me.
