cokedrvrbjw
The heated seats would be nice off the remote start. What model should i get to get all the same functions. Should i install it myself or bring it to the dealer?
TimC3
Heated seats off a button would rock! What's up? Come on ya'll, learn us this stuff right!! (add other backwoods comment here...)

edessa
DEI is the way to go, but if you do the install and not an authorized dealer, you void you lifetime warranty.

evoss
I'm just looking for the color for the wires: 1. Battery Power. 2. Starter Wire. 3. Tach Signal Wire. I'm sure I could find the first two with no problem. But the tach wire will be a little harder to find. If these info are available it would help with the install time. Thanks. tawss04
Remote start with all the goodies is nice to have, but it can also mess up the communication between all modules on your truck. When I was a GM Tech I had numorus vehicles towed in because the remote start and alarm systems screwed up the ecm and bcm's( not covered under warranty). Some were professionaly installed others were do it yourselfers. I would like to have in my SS but I dont feel like running into any headaches. Customers that came in with these problems weren't very happy having to pay big bucks to get it fix right.
