BenKey
I never had a problem just using a wet towel, not in the hot sun.
rmcswain
I never had a problem just using a wet towel, not in the hot sun. I guess you wiped the wax with the wet towel before it dried?
Krambo
Standard 70% IPA (alcohol). Or any non polar solvent will do fine. Test it first, the solvent may disslove 2x tape and will strip off any wax on the painted surfaces. You will be safe with the 70% IPA.

rmcswain
Your confusion more than likely comes from the dumb questions and answers put forth by the author of the thread........................ME

creaker
Just a tip, use Zaino and you won't have to worry about removing overspill from rubber/vinyl! One other trick, if the area is not too large, use a toothbrush & Dawn dishwashing liquid. That should take the wax off without messing up a large area. If that doesn't work then you can get a special purpose cleaner like Meguiars #39. And if that's not available use a general purpose cleaner like Simple Green. Don't use anything ultra harsh, like Purple Stuff.
Lee
Suuure Ben. Jump on this train. Vice is no good, though. We'll all just be triple "tri-presidents." Is that a word - tri-presidents? Ahhh, who cares. Sounds like it's time for the first annual stock holders party to me.
