SSminneapolis Posted April 10, 2005 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 well i got my hptuners working again. the new cable seemed to do the trick...so i was logging and getting some tuning done today and i ran into a bit of a problem. when WOT i get KR right at 3k rpm's...and pretty much all the way until i let off. i know where the KR is coming from...cause i can hear it. right at 3k i get this weird noise coming from around the peddle. kind of a scratching noise from under the truck. the noise pretty much mirrors what the KR looks like. more than anything...anyone have an idea wha the noise might be??? SSminneapolis Posted June 3, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2005 well turned out to be bad cats...took a service guy for a ride and he said that he has heard similar things come out of the impala cop cars when they are "driven hard" (and put away wet )...so today they were replaced and all is good.
