FlyinTurbo
The one thing that I plan on doing to my SS when I finally go down n get it is to color match the goofy lookin grey brake ducts on the front bumper. Has anyone done this yet? If so, could ya post some pics, please?!
Lee
Greg, some of the guys have talked about doing that but, to my knowledge, nobody has done it yet.

TimB
Real Paint. Very easy to do. Take grill off and vents. Take 15 min.

SuperDave
I always thought the ducts looked obtrusive in silver, I'll be painting mine black to blend with the bumper. Has anyone taken them out yet? If so, is it hard? I plan on using new krylon rattle can paint with the flex agent added, its made for plastic etc... It works great. Lee
Dave, I don't know about taking them out as I didn't try. I just masked off the bumper and painted. I think it is probably faster to mask in place then to remove. Just a thought.
TimB
Very easy to remove. 4 screws.
Rays B4U
Personally, I like them the way they are, I wish Chevy would have made "Out The Back" exhaust pipes to match.
BryzSS
I agree with Rays SS. I like the contrast. If it was chrome I would consider painting. One reason I don't want the SS chrome rims either! The silver "ducts" helps blend with the grill and wheels. I agree that the rear ducts would be cool, like the concept truck. Maybe have dual tips coming out each... (those could be chrome!) OR even better have a roll pan instead of a rear bumper and have one duct in the center for the hitch or centered exhaust. (not possible with the spare) Maybe someone can photoshop it? ~ Brian
