SinisterSS
Does your 6.0 feel a little sluggish? Burning a little oil? Just plain wore out? ;) Repower it with this little gem --->Good SS Powerplant
BenKey
I read about that thing about a week ago. Pretty sweet isn't it?

BigTex
No thanks. I'm committed to the GEN III motors. Id rather have one of these: http://www.agostino-racing.com/pdf/ARE_422...ong%20Block.pdf Very similar to what MN C5 is installing in his SS. Just some bigger fuel injectors and a little PCM tuning and its ready to roll. This will make more power than the 454 and is a direct drop in for our motors. I'd expect mid 400 HP to the wheels and a little more TQ if installed in our trucks running a conservative cam. Plus its ready for a big shot of nitrous or a supercharger. RATFINK
Nice engine for sure, but grossly overpriced. You can build it yourself for around $13-15k with better parts. RF
dcairns
For that kind of money, I would take a World Casting Merlin 780HP 632 cubic inch, aluminum block and fries. I guess that is already super-sized World Castings
ctrow
BigTex, I get the feeling you're a big fan of the laughing gas? I've always liked the ARE engines and parts. If I ever do heads, they'll probably have my business.
Ultimate
cool engine but I hope they are grossly underrating it or it doesnt deserve to wear ZL1 tags... in 1969 the ZL1 engine was an all Aluminum version of an L-88 rated at 435HP but in reality put out a bit over 600HP. BigTex
BigTex, I get the feeling you're a big fan of the laughing gas? The power that nitrous gives you is amazing. It just happens to be the best bang for the buck. I tried a whipple on my last truck, but it couldn't hold it ground against a 100 shot of the cold. I'd be interested in trying a new Radix, but its $$$ and I think the LQ9s 10:1 compression is a little high for boost.
whitebowtie
Wow. 21K for basically the same thing as a Ram Jet 502... And the 502 is 9K...

AZSpeed
Here is a Gen III engine for you. Slap some longtube truck headers on it and get the 8.1 liter accesories and you have yourself one healthy powerplant. Delete the ECU, Harness, and calibration that comes with it and it can be had for under $20K. http://store.yahoo.com/azspeed/sise600ho535.html

Gas tanks however, you may need to look where you were going to mount the second 26 gal tank so you can go at least 400 miles before stopping again. Sharp looking engine though.
