SinisterSS Posted June 29, 2003 Report Share Posted June 29, 2003 The ol' SS has 900 miles on it and decided to do the first oil change today and put in some Mobil 1. Pulled the drain plug out and found these nice filings - just a little break in wear. ;) Parts store didn't have a M1 filter, so I ended up using a K&N HP-2006. The K&N is about an 1" longer than the original PF44. Looks like there's plenty of room for an even longer filter, anyone got some suggestions? Next up - spark plugs in a '96 LT1 - ICK!!!
