geomcrider
Two weeks ago my Check Engine Light came on. Dealer changed 4 injectors and reset the light. They said to give it some time because it still showed a small miss fire every once in a while. Well...its been two weeks now and it went on again. They mentioned something about cleaning the injectors using some type of system that you tap into the fuel line verses just dumping something into the tank. Truck is an 03 and I just turned 10,000 miles. They also said that they have seen/heard that with the K & N intakes, it sucks some of the red die of the filter and has been know to foul things up a bit. Any truth to this ? Has anybody had these small misfire issues. The truck seems to run perfect and no skip or miss fire can be felt. Any comments would be appreciated ...Thanks
BenKey
An over-oiled K&N can cause problems, but are usually due to oil getting on the MAF sensor wires - I think.
