r8rs4lf
I've had that happen to me in other radios, but not in the SS. Maybe it's the format which it was burned in??? I've burned cd's in wave and mp3 format with no issues. Late- Alex

misterp
Assuming that you can play the burned CD in another player - The tolerance allowed by manufacturers of CD-Rom drives is large enough that it is possible your burner is at one extreme of tolerances and the player at the other extreme and the two are not compatible. Use a different CD-Rom drive to burn your CDs for use with that CD player. Mr. P.

Sounds to me like the head transport mechanism in the drive is shot aka you need new CD player. Especially if it is skipping on perfectly good CDs. Is there any way you can warranty it out?
